Y'all, we know that you want to be scrolling through personal pics and stories and not being sold a bunch of stuff. But hear me out - this company IS SO personal for us. From the top down, it is full of kind, smart, caring people who invested a lot of time and effort into us and our business. We're not just losing "something to sell," - believe me, there's plenty out there to sell! We're losing a quality business, quality co-workers, and a supremely quality product. And we are passionate about making sure that everyone has this final opportunity to have this food in their homes...it's really that important.

We've personally been buying (and using!) this food for over 4 1/2 years and are truly heartbroken to see the company close its doors. However, we are grateful for the opportunity to SELL what remains, giving one last chance to our customers to get it, and one last paycheck for us! The new mgmt could have just said "BYE" and closed the doors but they didn't - so we are going to give it a great effort to make sure ALL the food goes into homes!

So, the plan was to hold the liquidation sale until the end of August or whenever supplies run out - we are shocked by how fast the food is going out of stock. PLEASE don't miss out on the last chance at this incredible product.

We typically buy our milk from a farm but we ran out this week so I literally just used my Thrive Life milk this morning for my coffee, grand baby's cereal, and a protein shake! We were completely shocked this week to learn that Thrive Life will be shutting down 😭 Unfortunately, the "new management" will not continue to produce the quality product that we have LOVED about Thrive and will be liquidating all remaining items - once it's gone, it's gone 🙁

To our customers, we will be reaching out to you individually to be sure you know...might take a few days. Many of you have been placing monthly orders for a few years now and this will greatly impact your grocery and prepping plans. It certainly will affect ours.

We use these reusable towels from Black Willow Market all the time and just had to share this new set!!! Support a wonderful small and local business - and help the environment at the same time. Oh - and add a little “pretty” to your kitchen!

My garden is an absolute MESS this year! Like. For real. The plants I’ve started in the house aren’t in the ground yet, no seeds are in the dirt, I TOTALLY missed my asparagus this year 🤦‍♀️ BUT!!! It’s almost June and I have JUNE-bearing strawberries so I was DETERMINED not to miss them. Today, in the rain, I took one of my grand sons to the garden to “check for berries.” Although unsure at first, he ate about 15. We ended up with half a bucket of yum he and even ended up with a heart-shaped strawberry stain on his cheek 🍓😂 Why is this so satisfying to me??? So much better than buying a quart of grocery-store (or even famers mkt) strawberries!

Y’all watch out…these grand babies are gonna be the reason I get more goats 😳🐐

Today we remember all the brave men and women who gave their lives to protect the freedoms of this country. We stand for the flag when it raises and the anthem sings to salute the fallen who paid the ultimate price. To the families of those who’ve died, that sacrifice was not in vein and the will live on in the Stars and Stripes that they gave everything to protect. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, the heroes that keep this country free.

Welp. Not even three weeks without my big boys and this sly little snot has decimated my flock 🦊. Gonna be filling holes, mending fence, and maybe running “ZAP” ⚡️⚡️⚡️ around the bottom. Any other suggestions?

We had to make another hard cut on the farm recently - saying goodbye to these boys! Oh my goodness were they ever loved. Unfortunately, they just wandered too far (no judgment, please…I’m telling you, they are houdinis! If you have animals, I know you’ve had one or two like that!). We are so very thankful to have found a new home where they are kept busy, trained, AND safely contained. Can I just say there have been more than a few tears shed 😭 We will miss them terribly.
