Dear backyard breeder....
We cleaned up your mess today. That puppy you sold to the family you didn't interview. The same family who promised to "love them forever".
That same family who then sold them on marketplace to the first person who came along.
We cleaned up their mess today. That puppy you failed to health certify. That puppy you didnt microchip or register so YOU could follow their life.
We took in that puppy that was locked away, starved and deprived of basic medical care. We took on the burden that you dumped on a total stranger, who in desperation signed him over to a rescue who could help them heal.

So don't worry, we cleaned up your mess today.

Sometimes all it takes for a homeless pet to find their happiness, is a single post share.

We posted about Hades and his rehabilitation journey with Professional Canine Services. They shared our post and that was all it took to start him on the path to happily forever after.

The Burbank family saw him for exactly how we did. A loveable GSD who needed security and confidence. After a phone interview I knew this was the home for him.
Everything fell into place for this special boy. Congratulations to Hades and his wonderful new family. We can not wait to watch you blossom. 🖤

The real reason I foster dogs is this right here. So many walked past our sweet Lottie, overwhelmed in a kennel environment. She was living at Fauquier SPCA after her previous home surrendered her to our shelter. The team there did everything they could to make her happy. A plush bed and blankets, toys galore. And plenty of time outdoors. And yet, when a stranger walked by she coward at the back of her kennel. Showing only her shy side.

Today she is the resident swamp monster of Chapel View Farm. Hiding is bushes and hay fields awaiting a spooky dressage Betsy to harass🤣
Occasionally she is tormented by Lissa and made to play dress-up and have her nails painted. When I tell you she has exceeded every expectation I imagined as her foster mom, im telling the truth.

I am grateful to be trusted with so many amazing dogs from Fauquier. The team knows exactly what their animals need and do not hesitate to advocate for their success. But im most grateful for adopters like my sister. Who see past the fearful exterior, and patiently wait for the diamond underneath it all.

3 of 4 is Basil! Our last man standing.

Basil lives up to his sweeter namesake (sweet basil) he is our zoomie champion. He loves a good celebratory lap of the yard after his potties 🤣 his legs definitely came from his daddy as he is a full inch taller than all of his siblings.
He has twice the love to offer than his spicy sisters with the best snuggles. He is also probably the smartest of the litter. He knows his daily routine down to the min. He is also picking up on his house breaking super quickly. I have no doubt he is going to blossom into adulthood with the proper training. 🖤

Please contact Forever Changed Animal Rescue for information on adopting our Sweet Basil

Puppy 2 of 4 is Cori!!
This stunning little lady was Lacys first born. She is a confident little lady who loves exploring ger world. She has her mother's sparkle and loves meeting new people.
Cori is confident enough to play with "the big kids" and dosent shy away from a good zoomie session.
She is the first one over the threshold at breakfast time and will do just about anything for a cookie.
Her flashy chrome face makes her stand out against her siblings, and frankly her personality matches her looks 💜

Her ears on the other hand have zero idea where they want to settle. 🤣

Please contact Forever Changed Animal Rescue if you are interested in our little spice cake

Would you belive that Lacy AND 4 of her babies are still available for adoption!?

I am shocked that there isnt a line out the door for these special babies. Because of this, we want to highlight each puppy and their personality types.

In no particular order 1 of 4
Goji!!!

Goji was the 2nd of lacys babies to be born. She is that perfect middle child personality 🖤 she is not an all out wild child, but she loves squeakie toys. Goji is however the ultimate snuggle bug. Her favorite place is to sit on the lap of a hooman that makes her feel safe. She can be a bit more timid about trying new things (like new places) but follows a leader really well. Goji has been one of our favorite puppies to work with. She is incredibly smart and very willing to please her person.

If you are interested in baby Goji please check out Forever Changed Animal Rescue and fill out an application today!

Hot off the presses!
We proudly present our newest rescue Evie!

Evie is the teeniest 2yo pitty mix. At only 30lbs she is the perfect size to squeeze onto any lap.
Evie checks every single box.
Kid friendly ✅
Dog friendly ️✅
Cat friendly ️✅️
Crate trained ✅️
Perfect leash manners✅️
People lover ✅️✅️
Evie's previous home kept her crated for many hours so her house breaking is coming along nicely.
Evie is incredibly affectionate. She thrives on praise and pets. She could mold herself into really any environment successfully. Except a guard dog 🤣

*Evie has a old injury to her back leg. Possibly hit by car that was never treated. We have xrays that confirm the fused break. No surgery required and she does really well on Cosequin joint support. She uses it nicely and shows no sign of pain*

Please fill out our adoption application and email to [email protected] if youre interested

Not all my rescues need to be posted to find homes. Tank was one of the lucky ones who landed a home with one of our bonus family members.

His new brother Moose came to stay with us while his hoomans traveled. Moose quickly attached himself to this yellow beast and decided he would like to share his home with him. Introductions with the family went perfectly and he immediately made himself at home once he arrived. Adoptions dont get better than this!
We love when we get to continue to see "our babies" for routine vacations and grooming appointments. It will be wonderful to see the boys again soon.

Congratulations Tank, we love

Lacy's babies are just past the four week mark. And have began showing their big personalities. Because of this, we have decided to keep such agressive puppies away from the public and adopt the whole litter ourselves 🤣

Just kidding, but in all seriousness this is exactly why we will not be adopting out littermates together. "Littermate syndrome" is completely preventable and begins with proper placement into great homes (seperately). You will be able to apply for these spicy babies soon enough through Forever Changed Animal Rescue but remember, only one goblin per household 😍

Now excuse me while I het therapy for this horrendous dog fight. I may never psychologically recover 💀

We've been keeping a little secret 🤫
On may 11th Lacy delivered 6 perfect potatoes, naturally. She began labor around 8ish. And had all her babies out and nursing by 130am!

But here is the surprise! They have long tails🤷‍♀️
There may have been another breed that had access to her prior to her being in rescue. Soooo we have ordered a DNA kit for our litter of mystery babies. We can not wait to find out who daddy may have been.

Lacy has been a top tier momma. She keeps them very well fed, and their booties spotless. She is rather protective of them, except for Lissa. Shes allowed as much snuggle time as she pleases 🤣 This doula couldn't be more proud if her, especially as a young momma.

***just a gentle reminder that the babies ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION YET!***
But they will be available through Forever Changed Animal Rescue once they have opened their eyes and grown up a bit more.
