Quick Health Update:
First off, I want to thank all of my clients who are patiently waiting on their mounts. Your continued understanding and support mean the world to my family and me as we navigate this challenging season.

It’s been a long couple of months, and unfortunately, we still don’t have answers about what caused my kidney failure. Every test the doctors have run has come back negative, leaving things a bit of a mystery for now.

Currently, I’m undergoing dialysis treatments at a clinic every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. While these treatments are absolutely necessary, they’ve significantly limited the amount of time I’m able to spend in the shop. On top of that, I’ve had several complications with my catheters, resulting in multiple surgeries over the past few weeks, further cutting into shop hours.

Despite all of this, we have been incredibly blessed. So many people have shown us kindness and support in ways big and small, and honestly, that’s what has carried us through. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the Lord’s provision through His people!

Through it all, my wife and children have been absolute troopers—handling the appointments, surgeries, and constant changes with grace and smiles on their faces.

I’ll do my best to keep everyone updated as things progress, and I can’t thank you enough for all the prayers and encouragement.

Each time I get the opportunity to paint a fish I start by spending time pouring over reference photos of the specimen as I attempt, rather inadequately, to come up with a game plan as to how in the world I’m going to try and replicate this incredibly intricate and beautiful piece of Gods creation. The tiny little details that most of the time we just overlook all of the sudden becomes a reminder of all the complexity and splendor that is in the creation that is all around us and the loving Father who took the time to create it for our enjoyment and His own glory! PS: the last few photos are my process of inadequately attempting to replicate something as simple as scales.

I’ve been continuously blown away at all the people who have reached out over the last couple of months since all of this stuff with my health started. The well-wishes, prayers, meals, and even financial help for my family has been both humbling and a Godsend for us as I haven’t been able to work like I normally do during all of this. Last week I got a call from my good friend, .louis82 who told me he along with , , and had put together a gun raffle to raise some money to help support my family and he was sending the proceeds my way. I don’t know that I expressed my gratitude sufficiently then and I just wanted to give a quick shout-out to Tim and and all those guys and thank y’all once again for everything you guys did… I appreciate it more than you know!!!

No two alike, every buck has features that can all be replicated if one pays enough attention to the details.
