Our Mosaic made an appearance this weekend in Abilene and was Best of Winners 🎉
The same day, under the same judge, his half sister, both Jenga pups, took the girl win!

Views from the Whelping Box

I grabbed my phone to make a call but the camera was still on (because I take a million photos of sleeping babies by default😅), & the open camera gave me this view. And I thought, well gosh, I’m taking a picture of THAT too!

Perfectly, accidentally captured moment 🫶🏻

I was laying in the box with them because 1) why not of course! And 2) to stretch out my back from being up all night helping momma bring them into the world.
And then her head was propped up on my leg because she was tired and hot, & I was supporting her head & keeping it out the edge of the box so she could get some cooler air flow. All without giving any of it a 2nd thought… until my phone showed me this view.

A lot of time breeding looks like lots of driving & appointments & OFA screenings & researching pedigrees & paperwork & phone calls & emails. And other times breeding looks like this…

Our little Zwellie Ellie 😘

CONGRATULATIONS to Calcasieu Kennel Club member Ashleigh Menard and Tarkan & Zwell!

The team recently participated in Obedience Trials at the German Shepherd Dog Club of Beaumont!

Zwell earned her 3rd RN leg and earned her ObedienceTitle with a perfect 100!

Tarkan Qd both days and earned 2/3 legs for his CD! On his first CD leg, he earned 192/200

Great Job by all!
