Adah has wanted to adopt a dog forever and we’ve had some strays and rescues in the past and they were always the best! So we decided What’s one more when you already have a house full. 😂 say hi to Ollie ( she renamed him) he’s been the perfect little gentleman and he’s honestly a good contrast to our high energy bunch of GSPs and they all love him.

Buck is sad all the hunters aren’t here again this morning. 🥹😂

He’ll be 14 next month, so these days he’s mostly here for the important stuff—extra ear scratches, scraps, and keeping an eye on anyone sitting who looks like they might be willing to rub him. 😂❤️

He sure enjoyed opening weekend this year, and so did we! I should’ve gotten more pictures, but I really tried to just be present and leave my phone alone last week. From camping at Clinton with the family and horses to bird hunting in the back fields, it was one of those weeks that was just good for the soul.

Not a ton of pictures to show for it, but a whole lot of memories made. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade that.
