Bruno, Kit, and Ada were in 3 shows. Ada and Kit got 2nd and 3rd in variety. They switched up the order in all 3 shows. Got a 2nd look for best of breed in one of them.

The breeder I got them from was there and helped me so much!

Now to head home.

Needed a transport cage so I made one. Trimmel trail will be vending there so I will look at what they have. They will be back in their normal cages this afternoon.

Introducing Bruno, Kit, and Ada.

I bought them from FS Mini Rex. Laurie is a awesome Mini Rex breeder who shows her Mini Rexes. I saw my first rabbit show on Saturday and picked up my rabbits at the end of the show. She had Bruno in the show. He got best of variety and something else that I forgot what was.

Plan to take all 3 to a show soon to get the judges comments and to see how they do. May take them to the one on 9/3 in Murfreesboro TN. I need to get a show cage to transport them in. My carriers are all beat up and ugly. XD

Now to join ARBA, buy a SOP book, and register my rabbitry name with ARBA. ARBA is the American Rabbit Breeders Association.

Please note while rabbits make wonderful pets and people should be allowed to have them I've seen so many abandoned rabbit posts and had a lot of people say they want to get a rabbit for a little kid(like a 4 year old) that I am wary of pet homes. So many people think they are just a big hamster and only live 3 years. Some pet people treat rabbits worse than a meat breeder. If you are just going to release the rabbit after you get bored with it have the balls to kill it yourself and eat it. Something will kill it and it will probably suffer a lot first.

So if around the end of the year you see I have baby rabbits and you want one for a pet, please look into a recuse. I know one I can get you in touch with.

Some people know I have been doing meat rabbits for about 2 years now. I fall in love with every rabbit so I've decided to only do show rabbits. I love the idea of raising my meat but I can't make myself do it.

Nugget and Tatar Tot are doing great! They are still getting milk twice a day, but now they drink it out of a bowl. After I put them in the cage they got super bloated and had to have gas drops and belly rubs. Now they are doing great again!

And Nugget(dark face) is a boy and Tatar Tot(light face) is a girl.

Tatar Tot and Nugget are doing very well. Waffle and Biscuit got sick with diarrhea Wednesday. Fought to keep them hydrated and their butts clean. Biscuit died while I was at work Thursday morning. Waffle was doing much better. She started eating again and was not having diarrhea anymore. I'm pretty sure they got into something in the catio that they weren't strong enough to handle yet. They were in there 2 days longer than Tatar Tot and Nugget. The other 2 never had a problem. Waffles died yesterday afternoon. Whatever it was she wasn't strong enough to get over.

Tatar Tot and Nugget are doing very well and are super tame. They love to sit on my shoulder or sleep in my bra. They are drinking KMR kitten formula at least twice a day and are eating pellets and hay a little. They don't quite understand the water bowl yet and like to blow bubbles. So I'm giving them water from a paint brush several times a day. Each time I hold up a bowl of water for them to drink from. Sometimes they do great and sometimes they stick their whole nose under water.

They are coming out of the box and into a small cage today. Hopefully they can stay warm enough. They have been having trouble staying warm enough.

Had a Oops litter in the grow out colony that's in the catio with the cats. I brought mom and the 2 babies I could find in. Mom won't let them feed anymore so I'm hand raising them. Caught two more yesterday after running errands.

I would have left them in the catio but I was scared the cats would eat them.

And 2 babies have trouble staying warm so they went to Walmart and my other errands with me in my bra. The lady at the oc op was so funny when I started pulling baby rabbits out of my bra.🤣 Thankfully I found 2 more after I got home so they staying warmer.

They are Tatar Tot, Nugget, Waffle and Biscuit.
