Ok, this afternoon was rainy and warm - tonight it's frigid and windy. What Season are we in???

Why do our dogs go from snuggly pups to jittery wrecks at the first clap of thunder?? It happened to two of our client's dogs today, and it always breaks my heart. You can just imagine how scared they are!

Here's some quick tips to help them chill during a storm⛈️:

1. Calm Playlist: Create a soothing playlist to drown out the noise (and stay away from the windows). Enya + pups = happy vibes! 🐶

2. Cozy Forts: Build a blanket fort ⛺for their own thunderproof hideaway. Besides, you know it's fun for you, too!

3. Snack Distraction: The name says it all. When the thunder hits, whip out the treats! Who can be scared when there's chicken-flavored bliss around? 🍗🐾

4. Doggy Meditation: 🧘🏻‍♀️Imagine this - "Fido, breathe. It's just noisy nature, not a giant squirrel stealing your toys".🦴 This one will probably work best while in the Fort!

Next time the storm rolls in, let's remind our furry family members that with cuddles, goodies and us, they're safe and sound!💓

It’s International Dog Day! Wahoo!!!! This is Brutus - the doggo that runs our world. We cook for him, find supplements to help his aches and pains, give him lots of healthy treats, try to get him to walk around the house, and buy him more toys and fancy dog beds that any dog could possibly need. In return, he loves on all of us, especially Lee Ann!!!, herds us when we wander too much, barks at us to tell us what to do, and keeps everything in order. He’s an older dog, and we can’t stand the thought of life without him.

Love on your sweet fur family members today - life is wonderful with a dog!!!! 🐶❤️
