Zeus is a 6yo talented 16.1hh OTTB jumper looking for his next experienced partner.
Zeus has successfully shown up to 1.0m with plenty of scope for more. He recently earned Champion in the 2’6” jumper division along with good ribbons in the 0.9 and 1.0m classes. Has schooled up to 1.2 at home with room for more! He is an incredibly brave horse who would truly “jump the moon.” He is extremely confident to fences and cross-country obstacles, never questions a jump, and will tackle whatever is put in front of him.
On the trails, Zeus is sensible and enjoyable, crossing bridges and handling new environments without being overly spooky. His biggest asset is his willingness and heart—he loves having a job and gives his all every ride. He even enjoys pleasure hacks in the neckrope!
While Zeus is not a beginner’s or intermediate riders horse, he will continue to excel with an advanced and experienced rider who understands OTTBs and can provide confident guidance and balance for a horse with blood, athleticism, and a big heart. If you are an advanced rider that has goals to do big things on a b**r budget this horse is your guy!
Zeus is sound with no maintenance. PPE welcome. He is an easy boy around the barn, and used to a very busy barn environment. Happy to live in or out. Gets along well with mares or geldings. Hard ties, cross ties, stands well at trailers for shows. Great for vet, farrier, and trailering. He is very easy around the barn, and handles by children on the ground. Even participates in summer camp painting the ponies shenanigans!
