Sometimes the smallest step makes the biggest impact.

Boone is putting in the hard work in this heat. It may not look like much from the outside looking in but that first step off makes a huge impact. We've been working really hard to get Boone powering from his hind instead if pulling with the front. Our initial step off even at a walk still isnt perfect but its progress ✨️

Been slacking on the posts due to long days but that doesn't mean the work has stopped. Boone is into month two and making great progress!

Boone really put the work into the canter this evening and seem to finally get more comfortable with it!

Finished out the evening with some walk/trot work on Cherokee to get the muscles back in shape after a few weeks off. My trainer made sure to monitor our work closely 😆

Duke was feeling himself this morning after 2 weeks off and his pasture buddy was on a field trip but he settled out and completed some bridlework.

Boone is softening up and starting to get softer through his leg yields. He gets a little strung out through the canter so we worked to really get his butt underneath him and round out the back.
