Corn Cob Ingestion 🌽

Summer cookouts are fun for the whole family, but be aware of a hidden danger on your table: the corncob. While corn itself is safe, the cob can cause serious problems for pets, as it cannot be broken down in the stomach and often leads to intestinal blockages that require surgery.

To keep your pets safe, ensure they are kept away from human foods and that all foods and trash are out of their reach.

If you suspect your pet has ingested something they shouldn't, call our office to speak with a staff member who can help determine if your pet needs to be seen by a veterinarian.
