OK, back to our caterpillar/butterfly series. I saw this one posted in another group that I follow and I had to go look it up for myself….Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Caterpillar. The face is so interesting, when I saw the first picture I thought it was a small stuffed toy.. I absolutely love the wonders of nature! ❤️

So after another long, chat conversation with Meta support, I think I have finally figured out why our page was suspended from recommendations. It wasn’t for content and It wasn’t because I said something wrong against any particular group or community. It was because of our giveaways.

Due to the way that I structured the giveaways by stating that followers would get an entry for every accepted invite to our page Facebook saw that as us trying to “buy” followers. I saw it as a completely innocent and harmless way to grow our page. All of those posts have been removed however, they could not tell me if and when the recommendation restriction will be removed. What’s even worse, is support couldn’t even tell me the exact reason why as the individual posts were not flagged. I had to painstakingly go through community rules and through a process of elimination and interpretation. I am hoping I figured it out.

We need your help!!!!  I learned about two weeks ago that our page was suspended from recommendations within the Facebook platform citing we violated community standards. After going through an online chat with support, they were not able to locate any violations or any reason why our recommendations would be suspended. I was then told that my case was going to be handed off to a separate department for resolution however as of today about a week and a half after that conversation, I still have not yet heard from anybody….This is such a frustrating process.

What we need your help with, is sending out invites to anyone that you can to help us grow our page even more, without the recommendations we are getting zero exposure on Facebook. Also, for every accepted invite that you send me a screenshot of you will receive an entry into the drawing for the contest that we currently have going on (see Pinned Post)….5 accepted invites = 5 entries, but you have to send us the screenshot.

Stop buying your live feeders from pet stores, if possible. Specifically the big box stores you know which ones I mean. I know sometimes this may be an only option for people, but I would only do it if you are in a pinch, I would also give other large online retailers a second thought as well. There are so many Live insect specific companies out there that are so much better. I have been seeing a lot of posts lately where people are complaining about the quality and dead loss. Just like the bearded dragons that they sell, these insects come from large wholesale production companies where quality is not a factor. Nationwide big box stores do not have any kind of quality control system on almost anything that is live, including their animals.

All of the companies listed below will often times have better pricing and also free shipping when placing an order that meets a certain dollar amount….I also know that the supplier that we use, which is AB Dragons, you can do a subscription for auto delivery. Also, almost every company listed below provides a 10% overcount to count for possible dead loss during shipping and if you have any issues with DOA with documented proof at the time of delivery, they will replace.

We are baccckkk! Took a little bit of a break and then our whole house got sick so much fun. I’ve been busy in the background re-organizing and changing up our reptile room to be more efficient and better organized. If you are local to us in Connecticut or within two hours, we have these 4 available and all are about 7 months old. I’ll have amazing personalities, great eaters and are extremely tame.
