My absolute dream team right here! 🐰🤎 Talk about color perfection! 😍

These four little beauties are officially 3 days old today! Unfortunately, mama still wants nothing to do with motherhood, so we've been doing assisted feedings to help keep these little ones going.

They still have a long road ahead of them, but we're doing everything we can to give them the best chance. ❤️🐰

🐰 The not-so-pretty side of breeding rabbits… ❤️

I've been anxiously awaiting this particular pairing and litter since earlier this year. I was SO excited for these babies to finally arrive!

Last night, Val welcomed four beautiful babies into the world, but instead of pure joy, I was met with stress and worry.

Being a first-time mom, Val apparently didn't get the memo about nesting. 😅 She pulled ONE piece of fur… into her water bowl. Meanwhile, all four babies were delivered on the floor of her enclosure.

By the time I found them, they were cold. I immediately brought them out, warmed them on a heating pad, and collected fur from some of my other rabbits to make them a proper nest. Had I not found them when I did, they likely wouldn't have survived.

Val is also VERY hormonally aggressive right now, so handling her isn't an option. Our biggest hurdle now is simply hoping her maternal instincts kick in and she nurses them. Unfortunately, I don't have a foster mom available if she doesn't.

This is the side of breeding people don't always see. It's not always cute fluffy babies and happy endings. Sometimes it's stress, sleepless nights, quick decisions, and hoping you've done enough.

For now, all four babies are warm, safe, and doing well. ❤️🐰

Here's hoping Val figures out this motherhood thing! 🤞💕

Nebula is a creamy frosted sweetheart still looking for her forever place. She has a beautiful creamy body with cream frosting on her face, sable ears and tail, and pretty blue eyes. She also has a vienna mark and white stripe over her shoulders. Her frosty brother is also available. DM if interested.

Calling all bunny parents! 🐰💰 Here’s an easy money-saving litter box tip.

If you’re buying expensive paper pellets from the pet store, you can save a ton by switching to 100% natural wood stove pellets. We use them in our litter boxes, and a 40 lb bag is usually only around $6–$7 at Home Depot.

They’re affordable, absorbent, and great at helping keep odors down. Just make sure you’re buying pellets with no binders, chemicals, or additives.

If your bunny uses an open litter box and likes to nibble, adding a layer of hay over the pellets can help discourage that.

You can also find pelletized horse bedding at Tractor Supply for around $7.99 for a 40 lb bag.

Such a simple switch, but it can save a lot over time!
