Pistachio aka Stache is an affectionate and friendly pup, looking for someone to be his very best friend. He is shy in new situations and would do best in a quieter, dog experienced home with one or two people to dote on him. He enjoys cuddling with his person, playing chase with other dogs, and listening to vinyl records. He is housetrained and good on a leash. Stache is ready to be your companion for any adventure you have in mind from couch surfing to hiking in the hills. He is good with other dogs and respectful of cats who stand their ground. He has good recall unless he’s found something he wants to eat and is quickly becoming comfortable with riding in the back seat of a vehicle. Stache is still working on his confidence around unfamiliar objects but getting braver by the day! He loves toys was especially attached to his little purple bunny in his TX foster home.

Pistachio is about 2 years old and currently 41 lbs.

Mandy was a beloved pet in a local home for several years but ultimately had too much energy for her owner. Mandy is house trained and does fine when she needs to be home alone. She is a friendly, outgoing girl who loves people and other dogs! She can play a bit rough at times, so she would do best with a male dog similar to her size, but will do fine meeting all dogs on walks around the neighborhood as she considers every dog a new friend! She does well at the vet and enjoys playing fetch, tugging on toys, and chewing on bones. Mandy does well out in public as she loves greeting new people! Mandy does well with children as well! She rides fine in the car and is a gentle, sweet girl! Mandy attended obedience classes in the past and knows sit, stay, and lay down. She loves getting exercise and would adore an active home that wants to give her plenty of attention.

Mandy is about 5 years old and and currently weighs 49 lbs.

A HUGE thank you to the friends who has sent Soup Bones our way!

One thing you should know about the dogs at Buddy Dog is that they LOVE their nightly Soup Bones! Every single dog gets one before bed, and trust us, they know when it’s treat time! 😂 Some even start giving us little reminders and nose boops when they think we’re running behind schedule!

We’ve recently received some very generous donations of Soup Bones from several wonderful people! Unfortunately, we didn’t receive names or cards with all of the donations, so we wanted to make sure we said THANK YOU to everyone who sent some our way! ❤️

It’s such a simple part of their nightly routine, but it brings them so much happiness. We’re so grateful to everyone who helps us keep those tails wagging!

And if you ever feel like dropping off a bag (or two!), we’re always happy to accept more, and you know the dogs are! 🐶💕
