🐾 Tucker’s Back at Louie’s Scrub Club! 🐾

Tucker has been one busy boy since his last visit! This sweet, easygoing Border Collie mix has been enjoying plenty of adventures with his mom and dad, including putting on some serious miles as their trusty sidekick on bicycle rides! 🚴🐾

With all that exploring comes a coat that’s ready for some attention! Tucker returned for a Bubble & Brush, complete with a good scrub, thorough blowout, and plenty of brushing to tackle that thick, beautiful coat. And just like every visit, he was a pleasure to work with!

After sending a small mountain of fur flying, Tucker was looking sharp, smelling fresh, and ready to get back to his adventures.

It’s always a treat having this sweet boy at the Scrub Club. Keep racking up those miles, Tucker! 💙🐾

✨ Boots is Back at Louie’s Scrub Club! ✨

Boots, our sweet little Mini Goldendoodle, was back this week for a fresh cut and some pampering!

This little guy arrived with plenty of fluff to work with! A few tangles meant making some adjustments to his usual style, so we went a bit shorter this time. The result? A cute, practical cut that looks great on him!

And underneath all that hair was that familiar little face with those big, beautiful eyes. Hard not to love that expression!

Boots was a pleasure to work with, as always! 🐾💕

We had a brand-new face at Louie’s Scrub Club this past Friday! Meet Brownie, a handsome 14-week-old German Shepherd who came to us through a referral from one of our regular pups. We love those recommendations, thank you! 🐾

Brownie was here for his very first official groom, and what a great introduction it turned out to be!

We started with some outdoor exploring, giving this curious but cautious little guy time to get comfortable with his new surroundings. Once he settled in, it was time for bubbles and brushing!

Brownie thoroughly enjoyed his bath! I kept the dryer running throughout his visit to familiarize him with the sound before introducing the airflow. Ear cleaning was a new experience that required a little patience, but we worked through it together.

Then came the big test: nail care! Using my small, quiet Dremel and a tasty chew toy for distraction, Brownie sat through every nail without a single flinch! A few well earned treats certainly helped, too!

And the fun wasn’t over yet! Brownie made a new friend in Tilly, who was happy to show him that a visit to Louie’s Scrub Club can include a little puppy playtime!

Brownie’s dad had expressed some concern about how he’d handle an unfamiliar environment, having spent most of his young life surrounded by familiar faces and routines. But that’s exactly why early, positive exposure is so important!

Puppy grooming is about so much more than a clean coat. It’s about building trust, confidence, and positive associations that will benefit them for years to come.

Thank you to Brownie’s dad for recognizing the value of starting young and trusting us with his first grooming experience!

Brownie arrived a little hesitant and left freshly groomed, more confident, and with a new play pal!

✨Maizey Returns! ✨

It’s always a pleasure welcoming this big, beautiful Bernadoodle back to Louie’s Scrub Club!

Maizey is one busy girl, and between visits, her mama does a wonderful job keeping that gorgeous coat looking its best!

This week, it was our turn to spoil this lovely lady with a little extra pampering. And Maizey made my job easy! From bath time to the grooming table and even her nails, she was cooperative every step of the way.

And when Dad arrived for pickup, Maizey broke out the cutest little happy wiggle! That girl doesn’t just wag her tail, she gets the whole body involved!

A beautiful girl with manners to match! Way to go, Maizey!

Another pleasant visit from our sweet Cockapoo friend, Jordy! 🐾❤️

As usual, Jordy thoroughly enjoyed his bath and was a wonderful little gentleman throughout his grooming session. He’s such a cooperative guy!

We had a little extra activity toward the end of Jordy’s visit when another pup arrived. With Louie and Tilly already providing their fair share of excitement, I know Jordy appreciates a calmer environment with just the right amount of activity.

Although the interaction was brief, all the pups involved handled the encounter wonderfully! It was nice to see everyone navigate a little unexpected excitement so well.

Every dog has their own personality, preferences, and comfort levels, and getting to know those little details is an important part of building their trust.

Another successful visit for this lovely little gentleman! 💕🐾

Our happy girl Paris was back at Louie’s Scrub Club! 🐾💕

This adorable little Morkie knows how to enjoy her spa days! From an outdoor stroll with Louie and Tilly to getting pampered and fluffed up, Paris enjoys every bit of the experience!

She left looking fresh, fluffy, and sporting a fabulous new cut. Another wonderful visit with this lovely little lady! 💕🐾

Charlie is back in for his Full Fluff!🐾✨

Our sweet doodle friend has a big personality and plenty of opinions. Thankfully, we’ve learned how to understand each other, respect his preferences, and work together through every step of his groom.

Before getting started, Charlie enjoyed his favorite pre-groom tradition: a stroll through the field, sniffing all the best scents and catching up with Louie and Tilly.

With every visit, Charlie grows more comfortable and confident. He’s learning that grooming can be a calm, positive experience and that he can still be his wonderfully expressive self.

Full fluff, big personality, and lots of love. That’s our Charlie!💕

Always a happy day with Milo & Niko 🐾

Milo and Niko were back for their scheduled groom, and these two definitely know the ropes around here.

First things first, yard time. Apparently that part of the appointment is non-negotiable. Milo had already made his way to the back door and was looking at me like, “Well? Are you coming?” before I even had the front door closed. He is so smart and clearly knows exactly how things work at Louie’s Scrub Club.

After their walk around the yard, it was time to get down to business. And these two were ready for a good groom! There was so much hair that we actually did precuts before the bath just to lighten the load.

A little less hair, a whole lot cleaner, and looking handsome as ever. And most importantly, they got their yard time in first. Priorities. 💕🐾
