I have told people of the peace that Brandy has brought to many people over her lifetime, so,.... from the Buffalo Spirit Ranch archives I am posting this sweet picture of a young lady in Mississippi on Brandy's back when Brandy horse was in her prime. The young lady, Jessie, had ADHD and her transformation from the symptoms of that awful condition to PEACE was remarkable. We at BSR knew then that Brandy, as well as other horses, can bring peace and healing to people of all ages. Just one more example of why we love Brandy so much.

Paula is a very committed student in learning Equus (language of the horse), while Bonnie Blue is a great horse to "practice on." Both are making great progress, and it is a beautiful thing to see!

The face flies are exceedingly bad on the horses this year, and I have fly masks on all the horses except for Windy & Two Socks, BSR's wild horses from Montana. There are 2 reasons for this: 1) try putting fly masks on mustangs that have never been domesticated, and 2) they figured out a way to solve the problem. These pictures plainly demonstrate what is possible if we humans would just work TOGETHER once in awhile for the common good!😀

From the BSR 2006 Archives: A nice lady from Georgia brought us a "killer" Belgian filly. The horse was suppose to be so bad that the woman had a break-away halter on her, and she unloaded the horse directly into a stall, because to handle the horse would have been su***de she said,...or something to that effect. I think she said the horse had tried to hurt a trainer. I do remember the horse was portrayed as BAD! The next day I took the beautiful filly to a 40' round pen, and the attached pictures say it all! Zoie was one of the sweetest & gentlest little horses I believe I was ever privileged to spend time with. I was very sad to see her walk into the ladies trailer after a week of her companionship, knowing I would never see her again, but also knowing(hoping) she would find a great home and life in Georgia.

We have friends at BSR that are 2 legged and some with wings. This nest is perennial over the front deck of the ranch house, and we look forward to seeing the babies emerge every year. They are emerging today. Their mother is a fine hard working mom, and we wish her a Happy Mother's Day and a long happy life to all the babies!
