The Pet Food Pantry has been struggling over the last month or so… sparse donations from the community other than a handful of regulars and myself. I cannot afford to stock this pantry daily and the need is still in demand. I’ve even reached out to a few local social media pages specific to the draft community and we are dismissed or overlooked to wish strangers happy birthday and recognize multiple other local businesses. This was an important asset to the community but the community is letting itself down I guess. I’ve given flyers to local businesses stating we were accepting donations , posted social media. I rescue and adopt out kittens and simply asked a couple interested in a kitten , just donate a bag of food to the pantry, no response… nothing! I will put items out if I am able but this is daily need. We have people checking everyday for pet food many times too often leaving empty handed. This was for those that REALLY needed help. A big thank you to the small group of regular people that have helped and donated. In my eyes you are appreciated and respected more in this community ,even while remaining anonymous, than all the big names getting the spotlight. None of whom donated a thing btw. I will keep doing what we can as long as we can and appreciate those that help!

With the economy suffering lately so has our little pantry. We try to keep items in but they seem to go as quickly as they are placed. We will accept any pet food donations, even opened bags. I will re-bag it or seal it. We are still in the process of getting our 501c non profit but this takes several steps and lots of time. We appreciate your patience while we get started and of course we love the donations. I’ll try to post any other pantry’s I come across for those in need. Thank you !
