So we have some exciting news❣️ As some of you know, we got our first Munchkin Persian recently. Her name is Lovey Lou, she is a beautiful blue eyed, white Munchkin Persian. She has been bred to our handsome Persian, George. We’re so excited to see what these 2 produce.

To just give you some education on Munchkins, you can not breed 2 of them together. That would be a genetic nightmare probably producing life threatening characteristics. They must be bred to a regular length leg Persian. It’s like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. You could get all regular length leg kittens, you could get all short length leg kittens (highly unlikely), or any combination of both.

We won’t know until they are born. I will X-ray her close to her due date. That is to know the number of kittens she should deliver, to make sure she delivers them all in a timely manner. There is a possibility we might be able to see in the X-ray, but maybe not.

If a male Munchkin is produced during this breeding, it will remain here. Also, if a female calico is produced, she would stay also.

If we are lucky enough to produce more Munchkins than that, they will be available.

All regular length leg kittens will be available also.

We’ll keep you all updated on the progress, and if the breeding took. George is a confirmed producer, so I’m expecting her to be pregnant❤️ Due date should be mid Oct 🎃👻, with kittens available before Christmas🎄 ❄️☃️

Here’s the first morning update on our new little and I mean LITTLE, Lovey Lou. As I said yesterday, she is a Persian Munchkin, meaning she has basically a standard size body with little short legs. She is over a year old, her birthday is in February . She is settling in nicely. She has her little castle with her own litter box, food, water, and little hut. This is to give her time to adjust without feeling as overwhelmed as she might if I just brought her into a new environment with the other cats. She can still see them, have all the noise and smells, but still feel safe in her own space. The door will be open when I’m in the living with her so she can come out if she wants but diane have to.

This our newest addition, tiny little Lovey Lou. She is a 1 yr old Munchkin. She has the most beautiful blue eyes❣️ Munchkins have the regular body size with tiny short legs. Long story behind this, but that is for another day.
