2 feral kittens in need of loving homes. They were just caught, look to be 7-8 weeks old. Very scared and skittish as they have never been around people, but kittens become sweet and loving very quickly! Have not checked to see if they are male/female yet. There is at least one more that is still lose and trying to catch. Free to a good home only, must have vet reference.

Thank you to everyone with your patience this week with returning voicemails. We have worked short days this week due to kids in 4H and showing at the canfield fair. Feel free to come tomorrow (Sunday) at 10am to cheer on Ducky and Nate during their show at the 4H Event Center! Ducky will also be trying to raise money at the Angels for Animals tent!

I have returned all calls, texts, call list, and messages as of yesterday from maternity leave. If I’ve missed getting in touch with you, I’m sorry, please feel free to call. I have also opened up online booking back up for your convenience. As I have stated many times on here, I’m only accepting my regular customers that maintain a 10 week or less for bathing and grooming appointments so I can best serve my most loyal clients. I’m currently about 4 weeks booked out for baths and grooms (nail trims can still be booked sooner). Here are some pictures of the cute pups that were here yesterday!

Maternity leave update! I’ve healed up well and I’m returning to work full time this coming week! I will be returning Tuesday, January 18th. All my regular client large pups that I was unable to groom during pregnancy will be welcomed back! I have started contacting customers that wrote their names on my call/text list that was taped on the counter for the last couple months before I left. Please be patient if you are on my list, left a voicemail, or left a Facebook message. I have over 200 people to contact and will hopefully have reached out to everyone within a week from my return. Please feel free to call and leave a voicemail if you need to schedule.

Also, as I have stated before, I’m not accepting new customers or customers that go longer than 10 weeks between grooms in order to better serve my regular loyal customers.

Maternity leave update! Baby Grant was born Monday 12/6 by c-section, happy and healthy 9lb 6oz. I will hopefully be returning to work in 6 weeks, but I’m not scheduling any appointments until the doctor clears me. I will be contacting people to schedule starting with the people who’s appointments had to be canceled, people on the call/text list, and then voicemails, text, and Facebook messages. Please be patient because there are a lot of calls to make and I’m not starting until I know an exact return date. As I posted before, to better serve my loyal clients, I will still not be accepting new customers or customers who do not typically remain on a 10 week or less grooming schedule. Merry Christmas and I will see you in the new year!

We are now fully booked for haircuts through the 2021 year. We appreciate everyone who is has been prebooked to make sure they get their appointments! We do have a very limited number of openings for nail trims and small bath dogs left (not many and they are going fast). There are also two list you can be added to. One is a cancellation list so we can call you to get in if someone cancels. Second list is the contact list that I will be calling or texting people when I know my maternity leave will be over. I am NOT booking for 2022 yet as my return date will all depend on if baby decides to come early, late, or on time in addition to how we are doing. Again I’m am hoping to only be out for around 4 weeks. I do have two groomers that I’ve been in contact with to refer clients to as well, because i completely understand that your pups still need groomed while I’m out! The referrals are at the bottom of this. I really appreciate all the support, love, and gifts we have been getting for all of you!

We are hiring a Groomer’s assistant! We will train the right person. Part time to start, possibly of full time later. Hourly $10 plus tips! After the first year, you will get 1 week paid vacation yearly. All major holidays off!

Responsibilities:
•Wash/Dry dogs
•Brush out, trim nails, clean ears
•Check customers in and out
•Cleaning all
•Assisting/helping groomer

Requirements:
•Must be 18 years or older
•Must love all breeds of dogs
•Must be a motivated worker
•Be able to lift 50lbs independently
•Be on time and come as scheduled
•Follow written and verbal instructions
•Must have patience
•Must be available 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month (off others!)
•Must be able to work at least 3 days a week Tue-Saturday from 8am- 3pm

As some of you may know, Friday I had to go to the hospital due to pregnancy complications. Firstly, I want to thank all of the amazing customers that understood my emergency and rescheduled. Fortunately, we are both doing okay now. The doctor said I’m not quite high risk yet, but I really need to be much more cautious to avoid going on bed rest. So with that, I will be greatly limited on dogs 35 lbs and bigger. While I love all my grooming pups, the dogs that jump, struggle to stay standing up, pull on leads, and struggle to or won’t go in tub or on the table without being lifted, I will not be able to do until after maternity leave in the new year. This week I will be calling everyone that is already scheduled that I can no longer do. If you don’t get a call, you are still on the schedule because some of the big dogs I groom are very cooperative and don’t add strain to me. I really appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone again!
