Anybody missing this kitty.
Will be going to A.W.S.O.M.
Was trapped overnight in East stroudsburg off of Milford rd.
We had a very kind person reach out hoping it was the lost kitty from the hotel, we noticed it wasn't but did also say it isnt a cat that should really be outside, asked if she could keep an eye out and if he returns we can work on trapping. He did return shortly after and she took photos and videos and he clearly had flies all over him. So we decided he needed to be trapped asap and checked out.
If you know this kitty please contact awsom with proof of ownership. Big Thank you to Jasmine for reaching out to get this baby safe!

UPDATE: The Cresco pups have both been trapped and are safe!!

These two beautiful pups have been running on Devils Hole Road in Cresco for about a week. Thanks to the efforts of our amazing community, both pups have been trapped and transported to Camp Papillon Animal Shelter where they will decompress and be up for adoption very soon! A huge shout out to Tina Tobin with this case. Tina was right there with us every step of the way, from setting the trap and putting food out, to transporting both pups to Camp Papillon ❤️ Tina is a local realtor that consistently donates to local animal rescues/shelters. This time around she got to be in on the action of trapping them too!

If anyone is interested in adopting these (or any) pups from Camp Papillon, the adoption application can be found at https://www.camppapillon.org/adoptable-pets

Thank you everyone for the updates and support, these two souls are now safe ❤️

With all this teamwork we can get all these babies safe and in a home ❤️

So we normally stick to dogs, and leave the cats for the cat people, but we have been seeing these kitties posted for quite a few weeks now, and of course as we all know with cats, the problem will get worse really quick, neighbors are doing what they can as far as feeding and found placement for 12ish kitties, which doesnt seem to make a dent while looking at pictures but it certainly did.
We reached out to our friends at A.W.S.O.M. and asked them how many they can take if we went Saturday and trapped, so between Thursday and Friday awsom found foster homes willing to take in 14 black cats ❤️ so with volunteers and friends that what we did, Saturday morning, we got all 14 trapped, and transported to awsom, where their amazing staff stepped right in to test, and check them all out, then fosters came to collect, then came the better news....... we got another message Sunday they found placement for 9 more!!!! So yesterday we went and got 10 more 🫣

What are we asking for now??! Black cat adopters!!! Donation to AWSOM to get these cats fed and vetted so they can be adopted out, donations for spay and neuter of the remaining cats..... to get TNR'd if they cant find placement......but what we really would love is placement we dont want any of these babies to have to be released, although they are scared they are not feral, they do need to be trapped bc they are scared, but they are NOT FERAL! They belong in loving homes, so if you can foster please stop at awsom and fill out a foster app. If you are a rescue and can help even if just one cat please let us know and we will either go trap one for you, or set you up to get one. We are going to turn off commenting on this post, bc comments on other posts make us sick, feel free to message Courtney Dinkel, Stephanie Cardiello or if you are a rescue and can take a cat or 2, or foster for awsom with approved app. Also you can donate to have the remaining cats TNR'd through Furry Feet Rescue If anybody has offered to TNR this group and are getting cats please reach out to us before they are released ❤️
