💩💩💩… 🐶 Why do some dogs eat p**p?? If your dog eats p**p please do not ignore it! We have a supplement in the store that can help you to stop your dog from eating p**p! 

While eating p**p (known as coprophagia) is mostly a harmless, instinctual scavenging behavior, it can sometimes be a sign of underlying health issues. Eating their own stool is generally safe, but consuming the f***s of other animals poses risks like bacterial infections and intestinal parasites.

The Risks:

Parasites: Ingesting other animals' p**p is a major cause of parasitic infections like hookworms, roundworms, and whipworms.

Bacterial Infections: F***s can contain harmful bacteria like E. coli.

Toxins: If a dog eats the p**p of other animals (like horses or cats), they may ingest medications or dewormers that passed through the host's system, which can be toxic to dogs.

Behavioral:
It is often just a gross habit, a learned behavior, a sign of boredom, or a way to get your attention (even if you yell!).

Nutritional: Dogs may eat p**p to make up for a lack of nutrients, digestive enzymes, or an imbalanced diet.

Medical: Conditions like diabetes, thyroid issues, intestinal disease, or Cushing's disease can cause malabsorption or constant hunger, leading a dog to eat f***s.

It’s been awhile since I’ve talked about why I so strongly believe in giving Sam and Annika Golden Paste. Sam just turned 9 and Annika is 7 years old and by veterinary standards both considered senior dogs.

As you all know last year in July, Annika had a full hip replacement. Sam still acts like a puppy but unfortunately, every month I find another fatty lump (🤞🏻) and since he is a Golden, I worry about cancer.
