Eleven years old and still finds something worth wagging about in every single moment!

Daisey (UPDATE: ADOPTED! ✅) walks into a room and immediately makes it warmer. That’s the only way to describe it. She’s the kind of dog who greets you like you’ve just returned from a long voyage, who settles in beside you on the couch with the confidence of someone who has always belonged there (because she does).

She loves people. Loves other dogs. Loves kids. Loves her walks. And if you hand her a squeaky toy, she’ll light up in a way that makes you forget entirely you’re looking at a senior dog. That’s the thing about Daisey; there’s no slowing down happening here. She’s as spry as can be!

One thing potential adopters should know: Daisey has mild patellar luxation in her back legs (a common condition in Shih Tzus and other small breeds). It doesn’t affect how she moves and just needs routine monitoring to make sure it stays that way. Otherwise, she’s healthy, happy, and completely ready to spend her next chapter somewhere comfortable.

If your couch has room, your evenings could use a little more warmth, and you’ve been waiting for a dog who’s just an absolute ray of sunshine, Daisey is your girl!

Stop by and meet her. Our Adoption Center is located at 104 Portsmouth Avenue in Stratham, NH, and we are open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed). Questions? Reach out to us at [email protected] or call 603-772-2921 x 110.

There's a right way and a wrong way to say his name.

It's not Mister Bodine, clipped and northern. It's Miiiister Bo-deen, drawn out slow, the way they'd say it somewhere down in the bayous of Louisiana, maybe with a front porch and a glass of sweet tea nearby.

Mr. Bodine is two years old, sweet as they come, and yes, a little shy at first. He's the kind of cat who takes his time. He'll spend the majority of adoption hours tucked into his cat cave, perfectly content, quietly deciding whether you're worth knowing. If you give him that time back by leaning in, gently coaxing him out with soft words of encouragement, he'll slowly emerge. First his little head and soft eyes, peeking out to make sure the coast is clear. Then the rest of him, melting into you, purring all the way.

His ideal home is a peaceful one, where he can settle in at his own pace and feel safe enough to become himself. He's gentle by nature, wonderful with kids, and easygoing with other cats (as long as they're willing to extend him the same courtesy).

If you're the kind of person who understands that the best things happen slowly, and you don't mind learning a little Southern pronunciation along the way, Mr. Bodine might be exactly who you've been looking for.

Come meet Mr. Bodine today!

Bean has been around long enough to know what she likes.

She likes snacks. She likes running through tunnels at her own pace, in her own time. She likes being held; really held, not just scooped up and set back down, by someone who means it. For a shy rabbit, that's actually a pretty big deal.

At six years old, Bean is a senior girl, and she's fully settled into who she is. She's not the most outgoing or active rabbit, and she's not trying to be. What she offers instead is this: a loving companion who will always show up for you, as long as you show up for her.

Bean's ideal home would be calm and patient, a household that appreciates a companion who isn't in-your-face, but affectionate in quieter ways. Someone who appreciates the little things: whiskers brushing your fingers at snack time, a quiet nose twitch hello. Someone who knows that a rabbit who chooses to trust you has given you something real.

Are you ready for something real? Come visit Bean today
