A very kind finder stopped to run and help this turtle cross the road - as she was running to it, a person came flying by in a car and hit the turtle. I feel awful that this finder had to witness this but am so thankful she continued to help this turtle. I am away but put her in contact with an absolutely wonderful rescue. I wish people would SLOW DOWN on the road, the driver is lucky they didn’t hit the finder. Let’s stop being so incredibly destructive to this planet and its inhabitants.
