Stover Animal Rescue is a small rural 501(c)3 non-profit No-Kill animal rescue located in Stover, Missouri. We are completely staffed by volunteers who operate our facility solely on donated funds raised by our thrift store, adoptions, private donations, and sponsorships. Our organization was founded by lifelong animal advocate Carol Sue Weigel in 2005. Stover Animal Rescue takes in abused, abandoned, and stray cats and dogs as we have space and the resources to care for them. We rehabilitate them and then try to find them the best match for a forever home. We also work with other licensed rescues and animal advocates to network animals to areas where they will have a higher potential for a great adoption. As a No-Kill shelter, animals are only euthanized if a qualified veterinarian determines that a mental or physical illness makes a reasonable quality of life impossible.

Our Woof Wednesday this week is Stetson. Stetson has a big heart and is a gentle giant. He is a 3-year-old Stafford Bull Terrier. Stetson loves to play and run. He loves running through the play yard doing zoomies. Stetson does well on a leash and knows basic commands. He would prefer to be an inside dog and is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go out to potty. Stetson would do best in a household where is the only pet so he can get all the love and attention. If you are interested in Stetson click on the link to learn more: https://www.stoveranimalrescue.com/animals/detail?AnimalID=22142958.

Our Meow Monday is Pearl. She was found abandoned by near a dumpster with her two little babies, a kind stranger brought her and her babies to us. All our doing well. Pearl is an 11 month old Silver tabby and has the sweetest personality. She loves attention and will reward you with affectionate purrs and head butts. She loves to lay in the sun and gets along with other cats. Pearl is fixed and UTD on vaccines. She would love a home with another cat or is happy to be center of your attention.
