Stover Animal Rescue is a small rural 501(c)3 non-profit No-Kill animal rescue located in Stover, Missouri. We are completely staffed by volunteers who operate our facility solely on donated funds raised by our thrift store, adoptions, private donations, and sponsorships. Our organization was founded by lifelong animal advocate Carol Sue Weigel in 2005. Stover Animal Rescue takes in abused, abando

ned, and stray cats and dogs as we have space and the resources to care for them. We rehabilitate them and then try to find them the best match for a forever home. We also work with other licensed rescues and animal advocates to network animals to areas where they will have a higher potential for a great adoption. As a No-Kill shelter, animals are only euthanized if a qualified veterinarian determines that a mental or physical illness makes a reasonable quality of life impossible.

Introducing!!! Olaf. Hello, I am this week's Meow Monday and I am very excited to meet you. I am a 4-year-old male Gray and White tabby cat. I have been at the rescue when a nice stranger found me and brought me. I am currently being fostered at Lake Pet where I get to say good morning to all the dogs and owners who are stopping by. My favorite part of the day is when they all give me pets before they leave. I enjoyed snuggles and naps but I also enjoy some playtime. Thanks to a generous donor, these puppies adoption fees have been sponsored!!!

Howdy! My name is Stormy (white with speckles) and my name is Tory we were found sick and we were set to be euthanized but the kind volunteers at the rescue stepped in and saved us. We are thankful they did because we are the cutest puppies you have ever seen? We are both male puppies approximately 3 1/2 months old Catahoula Leopard Dog and we are looking for our furever home. We are young and are still learning commands, but we are both super smart. We are still working on getting vaccinated and fixed, but we would love for you to meet us. Hi, My name is Jazmine and I am this week's Meow Monday. I am one-year-old Tuxedo cat who loves to take naps in my cat tree. I also enjoy bird watching on the catio. Hi! My name is Bob cat because I have a bobtail. I am a 1-year-old fixed gray tabby male cat who loves to snuggle. I wandered into a yard with some dogs, and a kind person brought me to the rescue. I love to lay outside in the sun and love to snuggle. I am pretty chill, but I do like play-time. I would be okay to have another feline sibling but would be okay if I was the only cat.
