📣 Help Shape SJVR’s Future!
Nominations for all board positions will be accepted at our October and November membership meetings. All positions are two-year terms.
Here’s how you can get involved:
• President: Lead club and board meetings and secure committee heads.
• Vice President: Lead meetings when the President is absent, handle mobile home and clubhouse rentals, and oversee membership renewals.
• Secretary: Record meeting minutes, maintain membership records, handle correspondence and the PO Box, purchase communication supplies, and maintain receipts for club funds received.
• Treasurer: Receive funds from the Secretary, maintain financial records, make deposits, issue checks, pay bills, prepare state and federal reports, and provide monthly and annual financial reports.
• Horse Event Representative: Plan and coordinate horse events or appoint someone to carry them out.
• Parade Marshal: Arrange parade participation, direct members during parades, and look after the club’s welfare at these events.
• Custodian: Oversee property maintenance and repairs and organize workdays.
• Senior Advisor to Juniors: Organize activities and meetings for members under 18 and represent our youth at board meetings.
• Club Directors — Four Positions: Help make club decisions and assist wherever needed.
