Some shelter dogs have a way of finding you no matter where you are…
Our Director of Marketing, Carolyn, spotted Tamale running near the freeway just as she was exiting to head to interviews at our new Wellness & Community Center. He was with two other dogs and was hesitant to trust at first, but it didn’t take long before this sweet boy warmed up. 🥹🐾
Those two canine companions have since found rescue in Washington. Now it’s Tamale’s turn.
Tamale is about 1 year old, neutered and heartworm positive, which means he is RESCUE ONLY and needs a rescue ASAP. 🚨
❤️🩹 He has started a 30-day course of doxycycline
🏡 He needs a quiet place to rest during heartworm treatment
🩺 His rescue will need to continue his treatment
🐕 Once he tests negative, this young boy can get back to enjoying a healthy, active life!
Tamale survived life on the streets. He learned to trust. He made it safely to the shelter. We can’t let his story end here.
