Yesterday I shaved down 2 goldendoodles weighing roughly 75 pounds. The first picture was what I swept up and the second is all of that bagged up.

Can anyone guess how much this weighed?

Only a couple of my recent pets lately. I have not taken near enough pictures. You all have kept me incredibly busy and I appreciate each and every one of you more than words can say!

I have literally told everyone and their dog about Van Buren going to Nationals for archery because I’m so dang proud of all of them! So we will be headed to Kentucky on Thursday for the weekend!

I will still be able to get your pets scheduled but won’t be doing any grooms until Monday the 11th.

Boy, has life been busy lately, but somehow we are surviving! Here are a few grooms from the last couple weeks, or at least the ones I have pictures of 🙂
Again, I want to thank everyone for the support and allowing me to pamper your pups! It is truly appreciated beyond words!
I also want to highlight one memorable pup. In the last picture you will see a cute little puff ball laying on the table. Never in my time of grooming now or in past years have I ever had a dog fall asleep willingly on the table…until this past weekend. I had a good laugh about it. He did such a good job for his first groom!

A little before and after of Trevor! I absolutely LOVE human names for pets. I’m not sure what a “Trevor” personality looks like but I’m pretty sure if I were to google it then his picture would pop up! He did a wonderful job. Can’t wait to see you again, big guy!

A little before and after of Buddy! This guy was a rockstar! His mom warned me that he doesn’t like his head being dried with the dryer so I didn’t push it.
You will see in my posts that I mention the dryer a lot. I feel like it’s important to mention that it’s not for every pet. Some dogs just plain don’t like it. I want the pet to come back and not see me and want to run. If I’m going to create a bad experience and push something that terrifies them then I won’t do it.
This guy didn’t have final dry head that I like to send out the door but he’s comfortable. Most of the animals I post are brand new to me and I truly aim for good experiences. I personally can’t wait to see Buddy again!

Mr Jaxson came to visit me! He was such a good boy! Although he was a little apprehensive of my dryer, a few hugs was all he needed to conquer his fears!

Mr Chip visited me this afternoon. He was such a good boy! It has been a few years since the last time I groomed him but he was just as good as I remembered.
As I end my week of grooms I want to take a minute to thank everyone for the level of love and support I have received since announcing that I was getting back into grooming and starting this business up. I was looking at my posts from the week and noticed that each dog left with a “smile” on their faces and that is what I aim for. Just like us, the like to get pampered too and I am beyond thrilled to do that for them. I have big ideas and goals for my business that I don’t doubt that by taking baby steps I will get there. Thank you all again!
