We kept our 3 beautiful doelings for breeding next Fall. But we are breeding this Sept/Oct so we should have kids in March/April! They should be ready late May-June. We'll keep you updated. Deb and Josh. 🐐🙂

The twins were sold this past Saturday to a nice family. They are wanting good Nubian milk for their children.

We do have 2 does (Ruth is ready to breed and Babbs will be ready next Fall) and 2 bucks for sale. Both boys should be ready to breed this November.

All of these goats are ADGA eligible for registration and PB. Their sire has champion bloodlines with a dam that earned her milk star and the dam has a mother who also earned her milk star. Bucks have been disbudded and does have their horns.

The bucks are $250 each and the does are $300 each.

Contact Deb or Josh for questions.

New Mineral helping the herd!

My gals and guys went through a tough summer fighting worms. I noticed their coats turned from black to brown and from medium brown to light as well, especially the momas (the vet said moms dump a lot of copper after kidding and while nursing) I also have very hard well water. Tried a new loose mineral with high copper and more iodine than most and within 4 weeks their coats came back shiny and into their normal color. I don't get any monetary compensation for this but it's Wick's Minerals out of Nebraska. I also started them on some Apple Cider Vinegar (organic with the mother from Walmart, Whitehouse.) Of course Braggs is also great. I cut it 1:4 because it's so expensive but it's supposed to be 1:1. Anyway their eyelids are so much redder. The only ones with worm problems in the last month were ones not getting enough mineral because of pecking order! So if you're having worm issues (and I've learned the hard way for my herd, absent an obvious injury or temperature, it's always worms!) You might want to talk to your vet or extension agent or nutritionist about copper deficiency.

Note: the vet told me not to go above 3800 ppm on my copper and the company owner said to find a feed with little to no vitamin/mineral so his can work properly. The one I use is 3500. They have higher amounts for areas more deficient in copper like parts of WY. I know one other OK goat breeder who has used this mineral for years.

And don't forget the boys!!

Samson needs a herd to sire. He was born in late March so he should be ready to breed your does in late Oct into Nov. His daddy's dad was 2018 top 2% buck in America. His mother's line produces heavy milk and are 'easy keepers'. Let us know if you're interested. He could also be a companion or back up buck for your sire. Sires get lonely between breeding and need their own herd of boys. Let's find him a home!!

Great news. Jane, Marra and Daniel (born in March) are off to their new home with a wonderful large family near OKC!

We still have more needing homes: 1 doeling born in April 2019 (Babbs) and the 2 yearlings (they're ready to breed now!) Doe and Ray are $400 for the pair of sisters (they must go together as they are inseparable) and if you take home their younger sis (Babbs) you can have all 3 sisters for $650! These girls are a beautiful brown (mom is all black so you get a variety of colors in those genes) and their great grandmother at another ranch earned her proven (heavy) Milker star in 2015. All are ADGA eligible and their sire has champion bloodlines. Call Deb or Josh and we'd love to talk to you about them!
