The shelter Bedlam results are in and we are happy to report that even though we "lost", 98 dogs and cats found forever homes between our two shelters!🐾🎉

We are proud of Norman Animal Welfare for adopting out so many animals and can't wait to have another competition.... maybe when we are in our new shelter and have more space for more adoptable animals! 😉

Our shelter supervisor will be headed down to Norman next week because a bet is a bet and we will honor our word! She will be helping clean Norman Animal Welfare kennels while wearing an OU jersey... 💔😭

Happy dogs wrestling and playing tag in the play yard 🐾 We love to see it!

Rocky is 2-4 years old, now neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He is 48 pounds and done growing. Rocky is also heartworm negative.

Taz is 2-3 years old, now neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He is 35 pounds and done growing. Taz is also heartworm negative!

Siminy 🩵 Siminy is about 1-2 years old, spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She is FeLV/FIV negative as well. She is very nervous with the dogs barking at the shelter. She was very happy and friendly when she first got here, so we know she is not her true self with all this noise.

💔 Apache 💔 At 16 years old, Apache has found herself at the shelter 💔

Apache's owner was heartbroken to surrender her but due to an eviction, they had no other choice. Apache is 16 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and FeLV/FIV negative. She is very sweet and in pretty good shape for 16! She would benefit from a dental with her new owners or whatever her future vet recommends. Apache would appreciate a quiet home to spend the rest of her years in.

Beau is 2-3 years old, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He is 57 pounds and done growing. He is heartworm negative as well. Beau is GREAT with dogs and kids! Beau needs a home without cats! Beau is housebroken and rides great in the car too!

Lady got to go to the Payne County Fair over the weekend and this is what AWO Phelps learned about her: "Lady loved saying hi to everyone, especially the kids! She kept trying to go with every kid that said hello to her! She was initially curious about in the cows but was content to watch from a distance for awhile before she lost interest. She was even allowed inside to enjoy the art and cool down before we called it a night. She slept the whole car ride back to the shelter."

Lady ❤️ Lady was surrendered because her owner could no longer care for her. She is only 1 year old, now spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. She is 50 pounds and done growing. Lady is also heartworm negative. Lady loves love and attention. She is very affectionate too.

Lady is housebroken and volunteers have said that she is sweet, listens well when you call her name, and seems like the perfect dog!
