Happy tails for Sinclair!

Sinclair has fit into our family perfectly! She is the sweetest, most cuddly lap cat yet loves to play and run around with her toys. She greets us every morning with nuzzling and cuddles, and sleeps on our feet at night. She’s very gentle with the kids and adapted so quickly into our busy life! Adopting Sinclair is one of the best decisions we’ve made!

She has hit the jackpot after being picked up soaking wet at a gas station in Ripley, OK. Yay Sinclair! 💜

I want to take this moment to introduce one of our new pups Destiny and also thank everyone who was able to make it out to McAlisters and eat in support of our shelter!!

All funds made this evening will go directly towards helping dogs/cats just like Destiny!! Helping them get healthy, vetted and eventually find loving families!!

Destiny was apart of a large cruelty case where SEVERAL dogs were seized.
They all suffer from severe flea allergies. While we unfortunately didn’t have the kennel space to transfer multiple dogs into our care, we are happy to at least make a dent and get started on Destiny who was one of the worst from the home.

She has a long road to recovery before all her hair grows back and she’s looking her best self!! But she has already come a LONG way!!
I want to give Cimarron Valley Humane Society a shout out for vouching for these dogs and getting them started on proper care and treatment in order for them to transfer to places like us!!

It truly is a team effort🤍

We can only imagine what all Destiny has been through, but she is still such a sweet, loving girl!! We know she will persevere and eventually have an amazing life, like she deserves!!

Thank you all who supported us this evening or just support us in general!!
It is not only a team effort from one rescue to another, but the community members surrounding and supporting us that helps us save lives like these🤍

Meet Ashton!!

This happy girl is about 3 and a half years old. We believe she is a Shepherd mix of some kind. She currently weighs about 56 pounds and is done growing. If anything she could afford to put on a few more pounds. (Which we are working on)

Ashton is a very active, athletic girl!! She is always up for being outside and going on adventures!!
She enjoys playing with multiple of our dogs at the shelter!!
She herself is quite energetic, she would do best with another pup who is her speed and enjoys to play quite a bit!

Once she’s had some time to play out her energy and stimulate her mind, she enjoys lying down with a good chew toy of some sort.

Ashton is such a smart girl and we know her activity intimidates a lot of people. She really is such a good girl who is pretty people oriented and she still likes hanging out with her person!!

We have no idea what Ashton thinks about cats.

Ashton is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $85.

Meet Murray!!

This handsome boy is about a year old. We believe he is a Catahoula/Lab mix. He currently weighs about 46 pounds and is done growing.

Murray is a very calm, submissive guy. He is not very energetic.
He seems like a dog that just isn’t confident in himself, but I think he just naturally has a very mellow demeanor to him!

He doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at our shelter. He would likely appreciate another dog more his speed, and not overly playful. He ran into a cat at the vet clinic and he was very respectful!! He was curious enough to sniff but did not try to pull or chase after it!

Overall, he’s a very calm and respectful guy! We think he would do great in just about any living situation!!

Murray is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $85.

Happy Tails for Buck/TK!

Toby Keith aka TK is adapting well to his new environment. He has a 20lb brother cat, and 2 dog siblings. He loves toys, especially his new tunnel. He loves to explore the puppy’s yard and chases bugs and leaves and toes and tails. He loves to snuggle on his daddy’s shoulder or mommy’s lap. He’s so active we take more videos than photos. The last photo is one we had made of Toby Keith to go with the set we have of our other fur babies. He is loved and has found his furever home with the Kolb Family. We hope all kittens adopted are loved as much as he is.

ADOPTED!!

Meet Ducky!!

This precious girl is about 10 months old. We believe she is Black Labrador Retriever mix of some kind. She currently weighs 55 pounds and will continue to grow just a little more.

Ducky is an absolute doll!! There’s not a single mean bone in her body.
She loves everyone she meets!!

She has lived around little and big dogs before, she does have a pretty decent amount of energy, so having a playmate would suit her well!!
She might be a little excitable for a cat, but she seems to be submissive enough that it a cat laid down a boundary, she would obey.

Ducky is truly an awesome girl and we know she will make her future family very happy!!

Ducky is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $85.

Meet Gigi!!

Gigi is our longest term pup who continues to search for her perfect family!!
She has officially spent 322 days in our care.

Gigi is about a year and a half old. We believe she is a Pit mix of some kind. She maintains a steady weight of 47.

Gigi has come a long way in our care as far as her temperament and personality go!!
She has calmed down quite a bit and found a balance to her playful side!
Gigi loves to lounge around, cuddle and watch movies with people!!

She does very much enjoy having another doggy playmate!! We think having a friend would be crucial to her longterm fulfillment so she can get her energy out each day and continue to lounge around and have her calm moments too.

Gigi has met cats before and she didn’t pay any attention to them, all she cared about was the other dog in the home!!

Gigi is such a great girl in more ways than one!

She has watched 173 dogs and puppies come through and find homes before her. We are all rooting for her day to be soon!!

Gigi is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee has been sponsored. So she is free to an APPROVED home!
