Here’s the answers to your questions about Walk n Wag:

At this time, we are planning to proceed as normal despite the chances of rain! If it is utterly down pouring or thunder/lightning, we will re-assess.

In the event this happens, we will make a post and inform every one of possible changes!!

The Walk itself will consist of 4 downtown small businesses!
At registration you will receive a “punch card”
These 4 locations will have stamps that can be put on your card at the time of you visiting!

Those who manage to visit and collect all 4 stamps and return them to the shelter sometime between the 6th and 13th will be entered in a drawing to win 1 of 2 prizes!

Meet Dixie!!

This speckled girl is about 2 years old. We believe she is a Blue Heeler mix of some kind. She currently weighs about 45 pounds and is done growing.

Dixie is a very smart, athletic girl!
She wants nothing more than a family that can take her on lots of adventures and keep her mind stimulated!!

Dixie has lived on land before. But we think she could also do with a decent backyard as long as it had a nice tall fence!

Dixie gets along with other dogs as long as she’s had a slow and proper introduction! From the information we’ve gathered, she does fine with cats!

Dixie is really a great girl and we know she will make someone an amazing partner in crime!!

Dixie is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $85.

Meet Luna!!

This big beautiful girl is about 2 year old. We believe she is a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever mix of some kind. She currently weighs about 85 pounds and is done growing.

Luna is used to living the country/farm life. Unfortunately where she was before, she wasn’t welcomed by the neighbors and had to relocate.

Luna is a very mellow girl as long as she isn’t confined to a kennel.
She does great with other dogs and cats.
We think she would do best having a great big yard or more farm land to roam!

She is getting very stressed and overwhelmed here in our shelter, we would love to find her placement asap!!

Luna is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccines and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $85.
