Changewater Stables

Changewater Stables We are a lesson, boarding and training facility specializing in hunters, jumpers, and equitation. Ho We have three barns totaling 23 stalls all with Dutch doors.

Located on 85 scenic acres in the heart of Warren county just minutes off of Exit 3 on I-78. Two Heated Tack rooms and hot/cold wash stall with heat lamps. We have a 75x200 Mirrored Indoor, a 100x200 All-Weather Outdoor, and 100x250 Grass Jumping Field complete with bank jump. We offer both small and large grass turn outs with large run-ins available for year-round overnight, group and individual turn out schedules. Also layup and retirement field board is available.

Finally we got out to show! We took Lexi and Mira and Piper and Asher down to Van Dolah Lexi in her first horse show came home with 2 first 2 seconds and Champion of the Beginner Rider division. Piper showed her boy Asher in the Beginer Hunter for the first time and came home with a second, third and fourth over fences and a third on the flat. Great job girls! Thank you Sarah and your team at Van Dolah for a fun show day!

Went to Heaven’s Gate today with Mariah and Nolan and ZoAnne and River. They both did the itty bitty jumpers Mariah coming home with 3 firsts and champion and ZoAnne came home with a 3rd and 2 seconds for reserve champion! Great job today ladies!

Horse show #2 for the weekend the Jumpers went to Lotus. Day started off with ZoAnne and her boy River Lea in the clear round crossrails putting in 3 good rounds for 3 clear round ribbons a great first show back in 2+ years. Next up was Mariah and her boy No Limit they had a rough schooling but pulled it together in the show ring and came home with a 3rd and 4th in the itty bitty jumpers. Finishing up the day was Erin and her boy Camouflage in the Prelim Jumpers coming home with a 1st 3rd and 6th for Reserve Champion of the division! Congrats to all my students and their horses this weekend!

Another good day at Lotus this Sunday we started the day with Mariah and her boy No Limit(Nolan) in the clear round crossrails they had 3 good rounds for their first show together. Nolan’s first show in the USA! Erin road her boy Camouflage in the Prelim Jumpers they won their power and speed round and were third in the speed. Good day for all!

Another good day showing at Lotus, this past Sunday we went with the grey boys Asher and Camouflage. Asher and I trotted around the cross rail jumpers he was a good boy for his first show experience with us and seeing everything in a new place. Then Erin and her Camouflage did the .90 prelim jumpers, while it was not their best day still came home with a 3rd and 6th.

Another good weekend at Lotus Saturday we took Mira and Ping. Mira and Kaitlyn had a rough morning in the hopeful hunters but always good learning experiences. Next up was Mira and Mateo in the Mini Stirrup they came home with 3 2nds and a 1st the day ended with Piper and Ping in the Short Stirrup again not their best day but 3 5ths and a 2nd. Sunday we went back with Erin and Camouflage they started out in the .80/.85 had 3 great rounds 2 5ths and an 4th out of 10 and then they moved up to the .90/.95 and did just the speed class and won it out of 9! Below is Erin’s winning round! Thank you to Lotus for a wonderful winter series my riders ended with some nice series end awards Kaitlyn and Mira were tied Reserve Champion in the 2’ Hopeful hunters, Piper and Ping Champions in the Mini Stirrup, Mariah on Whiskey 3rd place for the Low Prelim/Prelim Jumpers and Erin and Camouflage were Reserve Champions in both the Itty Bitty Jumpers and the Low Prelim/Prelim Jumpers! Congratulations again to all my riders! Thanks for making my job fun! Thanks to all the patents/grandparents and barn staff that help support and make this possible!
