Unless you're me in my situation don't ever tell me how I should behave or feel. Because the audacity of people who've never walked a single mile in your shoes trying to tell you how to handle the weight on your shoulders is exhausting. They didn't see what broke you, they didn't feel what shattered you, and they didn't survive what you survived. But somehow they feel qualified to judge your reaction, your emotions, and your healing process.
Your feelings are valid regardless of how anyone else interprets them. Your reactions are justified because they come from experiences nobody else has lived through. Stop letting people dictate how you should respond to your own pain. Stop letting outsiders give you timelines for your own grief, your own anger, your own healing.
They don't get to tell you to calm down when they've never been through the storm. They don't get to tell you to move on when they've never carried what you're carrying. So honor your emotions without apology and protect your process from anyone who thinks they know better. Nobody understands your story better than the person actually living it.
