These young ladies helped Mom and Dad, and Grandparents pick the last of the blueberries a week ago. Hope to see them again next year 🫐.

Another successful berry year is in the books. The birds and Japanese Beetles are cleaning up what is left of the crop. Now time to move on to the honey processing and county fair activities.

Now taking reservations for U-Pick blueberry picking. The berries are at their peak, and will be gone in another week or so. Call or text the farm at (402) 450-1668 to get on the list before it is too late.

The blueberries are starting to ripen fast. I should be selling this upcoming Saturday (13 Jun) at the Syracuse Farmers Market if the weather cooperates.

No early honey to process yet. Lots of rain has kept the girls out of the pastures in search of nectar so far. Several of the hives are really humming, so this should change soon. Lots of clovers and milkweeds available for their foraging pleasure.

Another good start for the bees and fruit. Lots of potential, but will Mother Nature cooperate!? Time will tell.

We are busy weeding and fertilizing the blueberries, and pruning the apple and peach trees. All hives came thru the winter very strong and are busy bringing in many different colors of pollen. We tilled up a section of pasture and planted wildflowers, so hoping for an excellent flavor of honey this fall. Stay tuned as the season progresses. - Bob -
