Today we highlight Gabby…another phenomenal vet tech!! Gabby joined our CAC team back in 2020 & earned her veterinary technician license this year😃
Gabby is an avid horse enthusiast, also working as a veterinary nurse at a local equine practice. You’ll often find Gabby cuddling an elderly dog but she’s known to sing songs to our big dogs as well in order to help comfort them💗💗 Gabby also appreciates kitty cats of all ages & temperaments😻She is great with our clients too…we have just loved watching Gabby’s technical skills develop over the years! We are very proud of Gabby & are thrilled that she’s a part of our amazing team here at Countryside! 🐶🐈‍⬛🐾🐈‍⬛🐶

AH-MAZ-ING LVT’s!! Sarah joined the Countryside team a bit before COVID in 2019 and she’s been with us ever since!! Sarah has been in tech school these last few years, earning her veterinary technician license just a few months ago. We couldn’t be happier to have Sarah on our team…she truly is is “Jill of all Trades” with expertise in veterinary medicine, inventory management,
Paw Plans, client care & communication, computer software…the list seems endless! She is one in a million, truly & we’re thrilled she calls Countryside her “home”🩷🩷🩷

Onto one of our newer employees…Tara!! Tara has been with us at Countryside since 2025, joining the team after graduating from veterinary tech school in Pittsburgh PA in December. Tara is kind, courteous, and always has a friendly smile. Tara has an affinity for exotics but loves all animals no matter how big or how small💖🫶💖 Tara is already an amazing technician and her skills continue to strengthen & grow each day under the guidance of our team of wonderful doctors & LVT’s. We are SO glad to have Tara at Countryside & love watching her hone her skill set. Tara is such a bright shining

Amy is another one of our fabulous LVT’s!! Amy joined our Countryside team as an assistant in 2020…initially thinking she wanted to pursue a career in human medicine! Luckily for us & the rest of the pets on the planet, she changed her mind😁 Amy earned her veterinary technician license last year in 2025 & has been kicking butt as an LVT ever since! Amy has the purest heart & the most care + compassion for all creatures big & small💖💖💖 She goes above & beyond to provide stellar patient care and strives to give clients just as much care as she does their pets! Amy truly is a gem 💎 and we are so glad she’s a part of the Countryside team!

Tracy has been a part of our Countryside team off & on since 1997!!! She started out at the front desk (but only briefly) before starting her journey as a technician! She left CAC to pursue her vet tech license in 2001, completing tech school & earning her veterinary technician license in 2005. She also became certified in rehabilitation further down the road. Tracy rejoined our team in 2017 with the arrival of Dr. Griffing (wow…how is that almost 10 years ago?) Tracy brings so much knowledge & a vast amount of experience in so many things. She is committed to keeping our patients safe & comfortable while they are at the clinic for their surgical procedures. She knows how precious pets are to their families & truly treats them each as they were one of her own…Tracy is SUCH an amazing LVT & we are thankful for her wisdom, heart & skill set. We love Tracy so much & are so happy she has returned to Countryside!!

Please help wish our licensed vet techs & our ENTIRE support staff a very Happy National Vet Tech week!! Countryside would not be the same without them. Each member of our Countryside team brings their heart & soul to the clinic every day. We are so thankful to have such a phenomenal group of animal caretakers within our four walls…they truly are what makes Countryside so special. This week we’re going to highlight our 5 LVT’s…we are grateful to them all for their hard work, dedication, & above all, their love for all of the 4 legged friends (plus our scaled & feathered pals) that come through our doors!

Happy Labor Day from all of the team at Countryside. We will be closed for the holiday today (Monday 9/7) but be back to regular office hours tomorrow. If your pet is facing a medical emergency or needs urgent care, please contact one of the emergency animal hospitals nearby. Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) clinics have multiple sites in Leesburg, Chantilly & Falls Church.
