Great News! We have now been able to get 102 pets microchipped through the grant received from Rice County Community Foundation and implanted by Ark Veterinary Clinic. If your pet is scheduled for vaccinations, surgery, or other veterinary care, you can have them microchipped, free of charge, while supplies last.

HomeAgain microchips are permanent, radio-frequency identification (RFID) implants, about the size of a grain of rice, that store a unique ID number to identify lost pets. When a lost pet is found, a scanner is passed over the shoulder blades, transmitting a unique ID number, which is then used to call the HomeAgain 24/7 recovery hotline or search their database to find the registered owner's contact info.
