Today’s assessment was powerful Caucasian Shepherd imported by one of my longtime clients from Croatia, who has trusted MushyCookieK9 for over 4½ years. When it comes to a dog of this caliber, I believe in putting the dog’s best interests first and making sure we have the right professionals involved.

That’s why I called in one of my mentors, Justin Brooks of Boss Canine LLC out of Chicago. Justin made the drive all the way to the Quad Cities to collaborate, and together we successfully completed the testing and protection assessment. 🤝

Today’s scenario features an American Bulldog hybrid working through a simulated street encounter where an individual approaches asking for money, then becomes verbally aggressive and confrontational.

The goal? Demonstrating the importance of confidence, stability, handler engagement, and control when a situation takes an unexpected turn. 💪
