A local dog trainer is under fire after being accused of feeding her clients drugs.
“Cookies”, as they are sometimes called, look like ordinary dog treats. But some people are concerned with the effect these treats produce when eaten by their dogs.
“I’ve never seen my dog behave this well”, said a former client. “When the trainer [Alley Rowland] rewarded Rover with these treats, he started minding his manners. I was astounded with the sudden change; it was like magic.”
We caught up with Rowland as she was being escorted into the police station for questioning.
“They’re just treats,” she said as she was placed in handcuffs. “All it is is positive reinforcement. I’ve done nothing wrong.”
We will update you with more information as the investigation continues.

A perfect place for beginners, the Yellow Brick Road: Basics 1 class introduces you are your dog to the core behaviors of sit, down, stay, and come, and begins work on anti-jumping techniques; walking nicely on leash, and greeting dogs politely.
This seven-week class is for dogs who are at least one year old. Dogs are also required to have current vaccinations for rabies and distemper/parvo before being approved for the class. And if your dog is scared or aggressive towards strange people and dogs, this is not the space for you (we’re working on a class for these guys, don’t worry).
For only $150 you can start your dog on the path to better behavior. This class has limited availability so book your slot today.
