It's that time again folks.

We have just ended one of our best ever summers here at the Barkery. And, that’s because these wonderful people were working behind the scenes. You may have talked to one of them or seen their good work if you were here.. Now they are all back to school.. Let me take a moment to introduce and thank each of them..
Christy Adams is was the voice on the phone, the person answering your email, or the person greeting you at the door each day. .. in between times she fed dogs and gave them some extra love whenever she could. Now she’s back to her usual post as a St Andrews teachers aide where she continues to share her love. Thanks Christy. You brought sunshine to the start of every day

Next in the photo is Lisa Brininger, who came in a little bit later in the day and stayed through the afternoon. She managed the Kennel, kept it clean and organized, kept our high schoolers busy, and sent you all those pictures you loved. Lisa is also part of the St Andrews staff where she teaches 4th grade, as well as a dog trainer. Thank you Lisa for holding us together and settling those rambunctious dogs.

Bree Taylor is a high school softball player who was our “Clean-up” hitter whenever she wasn’t on the road. She came in last during the day and plugged in whenever she was needed. Cleaning, dog-walking, filing papers,sending out birthday cards, taking pictures and playing puzzles with her charges.. she did it all with enthusiasm and a smile. She’s off to her junior year at Sterling, but promises to be back when she can.. Thank you, Girlfriend, and have a great year.

Isaac Ibarra joined us later in the summer and became our handyman, groundskeeper, and dog walker. He was “the extra pair of hands” everyone needed. He’s begun his senior year at Sterling where you will soon see him on the Warriors Football Field.. Good luck, Isaac, and thanks for helping us look so good

And here’s one more blessing from them.. Christy and Lisa are coming back to help on Saturdays and Bree is coming after school.. Thanks Ladies. We are all so grateful for your help

Our Pool Picture of the day.. This is one year old border collie Kipper who just couldn’t leave Moms arms when it came to getting into the pool.. So Mom had to go too.. He’s gonna try again tomorrow
