Shoutout to Ofc. Hulse and K9 Sky of Corewell Health Services Police, who graduated from our five-week Basic Police K9 Handler Academy last week!
They also earned certification through the United States Police Canine Association and will begin helping keep Corewell hospitals safer this week.
Their dedication, hard work, and extra effort made it possible for them to become a certified police K9 team. Congratulations to Ofc. Hulse and K9 Sky!

Day 3 done for our Spring Hard Surface Tracking class! Today’s training tested our teams in Port Huron’s neighborhoods with distractions galore—foot traffic, vehicles, animals, and curious onlookers. But our K9 teams rose to the challenge, proving their tracking skills are top-notch. Congrats to the 6 teams that finished: Lansing PD, Farmington Hills PD, Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office, and 3 teams from Corewell Health Police Services. Thanks to all for their hard work and dedication. If you’re looking to boost your tracking abilities, Chase K9 is here to help. Give us a call!

Day 2 of our Hard Surface tracking class came to a close. Today, we tested the K9 teams' limits, pushing them to the point of failure. But that's where the learning begins. The teams ended the day strong, eager to apply the lessons learned and tackle realistic situations tomorrow.

Hard Surface Tracking class is off to a great start! Spent Day 1 getting up close and personal with K9 teams and learning how they work. Problem solving was a challenge, but the teams rose to the occasion. Can’t wait to see the progress tomorrow.
