This big guy won a decent amount of money on the track, and somewhere along the way became head shy. The last couple of days have been spent in the round pen practicing short, meaningful desensitization sessions. Lots of improvement!

True desensitization improves safety, performance, and over-all well being. A horse that isn’t bracing against fear can think clearly, move correctly, and stay mentally present. It reduces stress response, injury risk, and creates a relationship built on confidence.
