Kim's Kennel Hours by Appointment. Located 6.5 miles east of Daggett. Things to bring or have available for boarding your pet(s). Current vaccination records.

From your vet, tags are not enough. Your pet needs to be current on Rabies and DHLPP. Bordetella is recommended but can NOT be given within 2 weeks of boarding. Bordetella is for canine cough also poorly labeled as kennel cough. Canine cough is a respiratory issue. Some dogs are more susceptible than others. Bring your own food, I don't like to switch your pets normal diet. Boarding is stressful

enough without switching foods. Pre measuring your pets food is great but not necessary. I use a measuring cup for feeding. If your pet is only staying the weekend, a 50 pound bag is not necessary. An ice cream bucket will be plenty. A blanket from home works. Full size beds are not recommended. We do have raised beds and blankets available. There is no need to bring dishes, we also have those available. Treats and toys are welcome. Any medication needs to be properly labeled.

Attention horse show families and spectators! The Horse Show from the 2026 Menominee County Fair has officially been rescheduled, and our riders and horses are ready to hit the ring!

Date: Monday, August 10th
Registration: 8:30 AM
Show Time: 9:00 AM
Location: Horse Arena at Shakey Lakes County Park

Please note: Competitors must have previously registered for the 2026 Menominee County Fair Horse Show to compete.

Park Entry: A $5 daily pass or a $20 Annual County Park Pass is required for park admission.

Hungry? The Castaway's Grill will be open on the beach from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, so make sure to stop by for lunch or a treat!

Grab your lawn chairs, pack sunscreen, and bring your friends and family to cheer on our talented equestrian teams. It’s going to be a fantastic day at the park—see you at the arena!

Well after all of these years, it's time to say Good bye. Parting is such sweet sorrow. It's been fun, we've been through a lot, but it's time to part ways.

After 35+ years of boarding these are my first Tibetan Mastiffs. They have lots of growing to do but very nice boys.

Well if the heat wasn't bad enough to keep your pets inside now we add the smoke. When I went out earlier my throat started getting scratchy right away. Pets are going out to go potty and coming back inside where it's cool and the AC is filtering the air. Hopefully this passes quickly.. dogs don't understand why they can't run and play but it's for their own good. Top is the kennel bottom is the house. Be safe out there people.

FYI we still have power and the AC is running full tilt. Your pets are comfy. It's warmer in my house than in the kennel. And if the power happens to go out we do have a generator. Your pets are safe!
