Dear Le Pooch Family,

I write to you from my tent in the smoke filled mountains, a HUGE thank you for your ongoing love, support, and patience.

Please rest assured I am in safe hands amongst my firefighter family, and having the most fulfilling experience I could have hoped for. I appreciate all your kind words, check ins, and prayers, and wanted to let you know how much they mean to me after a long day on the line 🥰

I miss you all, and can’t wait to be back in the salon in the future and tell you all about my adventures !

I want to personally thank Emily for being such an absolute rockstar ! Please extend your gratitude to her as well, as she has been running the show for me while I am away and completely remote.

This years fire season has only begun, and I ask you all, please stay informed, educated, and prepared. If you see a first responder, a simple, thank you can go a long way ! We will NEVER get tired of hearing it, and on hard days, it really does cheer us up. Keep up the cute signs, cards, and drawings, we love coming home to them every day 🥰

Dog bites are more common than most people think—and most are preventable with education and awareness.

• Around 77% of bites come from dogs the person knows (family or friends)

This isn’t about “bad dogs.” Dogs bite because they feel scared, stressed, overwhelmed, or pressured—and often give warning signs that are missed.

💡 Prevention starts with us:
• Learn and respect dog body language
• Avoid forcing interactions (especially hugs or restraint)
• Supervise all interactions between dogs and children
• Advocate for your dog when they’re uncomfortable
