Some people leave the world a little better than they found it. Dolly Parton was one of them. 🩵

An icon, a trailblazer, an animal lover, and a woman with a heart every bit as big as her personality. Dolly spent her life giving back, and her soft spot for animals was just another piece of who she was.

Of all the words being shared today, these stopped us in our tracks:

Fourth of July Pet Safety Tips 🐾

Fireworks can be stressful for pets. Help keep them safe with these simple reminders:

• Take your dogs for a walk before it gets dark and always keep them on a leash, even if they normally have excellent recall.

• Turn on the TV, a fan, or calming music to help drown out the sound of fireworks.

• If your pet has prescribed anxiety medication, give it before the fireworks begin so it has time to take effect.

• Keep pets safely indoors while fireworks are going off, and make sure doors, windows, and gates are secure.

• Double-check that your pet is wearing a collar with current ID tags and that their microchip information is up to date.

• Keep pets away from alcohol, chocolate, grapes, onions, cooked bones, and other holiday foods that can be harmful or toxic.
