12 years of grooming and I’ve never stopped wanting to learn, improve, and become better at something I truly love ❤️🐩.
Along the way, I lost a little bit of myself. There have been challenges, disappointments, and moments that have made me question myself more than I’d like to admit.

One of the things I’ve learned through it all is to be more mindful about where I invest my time, energy, and education. I do not want to learn simply because an opportunity is convenient- but to be intentional about who I learn from. I want to surround myself with people who inspire me, challenge me, and strive for excellence in everything they do.

And that’s what brought me all the way to Poland. 🇵🇱
I completed a 4 day Poodle Master Class, at , with one of the best out there 🏆🐩✂️ .rzeszutek.dogstylist

Your salon is beautiful, your staff is incredibly talented and welcoming, and spending my days surrounded by so many beautiful poodles has been an absolute dream.

What I’ll remember most isn’t just what you taught me- it’s your kindness, conversations, encouragement and most of all, the opportunity to better myself. The feeling of having someone I admire believe in me, at a time when I was struggling to believe in myself is a feeling I hope to never forget.

I came here hoping to become a better poodle groomer, but I didn’t realize how much I needed to be reminded of why I fell in love with grooming in the first place- challenging haircuts ✂️ and most of all POODLES 🐩 !

I’m leaving Poland with new knowledge, new inspiration, a relationship I truly hope continues, and a renewed excitement for what’s ahead.

For the first time in a while, I’m not just thinking about everything that’s gone wrong. I’m excited about everything that could go right.

Thank you, Tatiana- for so much more than an incredible education. I don’t think I can fully express how grateful I am for this experience. Your talent, knowledge, dedication, and pursuit of perfection are everything I hoped to learn from and more.

I have a feeling this is only the beginning ❤️🐩

The Hershey Groom Expo looked a little different for me this year. ❤️

25 years 🇺🇸
September 11th will never just be a date in our family. My dad was there that day, alongside his brothers- by blood and by the firehouse.
Growing up, I knew my dad was a firefighter but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve understood more and more what that really meant- the courage, sacrifice, brotherhood, and the weight so many of them carried home.
He has always been my hero, but these days I feel especially lucky watching that same man be Pop Pop to my boys, while still being the dad who has supported every crazy dream I’ve ever chased- including BYOP.
Today I’m thinking of every family who lost someone on September 11th, and every family who has lost someone in the 25 years since because of illnesses connected to that day.

Keeping your dog on a regular grooming schedule helps with more than just keeping them looking cute. It helps prevent matting, keeps nails and ears maintained, and makes grooming feel like a normal part of life instead of a big stressful event every few months.

Consistency makes a huge difference 🤍
