STAR EARNS A DOUBLE SCENTWORK NOVICE HIGH IN TRIAL!!

Star won her second HIT in novice at the Westie trial in Kimberton Pa. yesterday.

On September 20 she won Novice HIT at the Rocky Creek show also in Pa.

We are getting very close to finishing our overall novice elite title. We’ve finished her exterior and have two legs to spare. In the other three elements, we need between one and three legs to finish.

NOR'EASTER?
NO PROBLEM FOR SAFFI!

This past weekend, an "interesting" mix of horizontal rain, VERY high winds, and drizzle, were the backdrop to my Saffi earning her first field points (on rabbit) with a third place in the Combined Open stake. It was also her first field trial weekend so I am doubly proud of her. Now we have to dry out.

STAR EARNED HC DURING NOR'EASTER!

We braved the Nor'easter to compete in CDSP at Golden Rule in northern New Jersey.

Star won all four of her classes : Versatility and Utility in both trials to win High Combined. These are legs 5 & 6 towards her Utility Championship title . You need 10 legs with scores above 185.

I haven’t been keeping track of my Versatility legs because I didn’t realize she would also earn a Championship under the same rules . I’ve been using that class because I want to practice her go outs before she does the utility class.

So proud of her she has really found her venue for Obedience.

Seamus Earns BCAT Title!!
On Sunday, August 30th, Seamus earned his Beginner Coursing Ability Test (BCAT) title.
A dog earns the American Kennel Club (AKC) BCAT title upon accumulating 150 qualifying points in AKC Fast CAT trials which is a 100-yard dash chasing a mechanical lure while the dog’s speed is timed. -Richard Dwyer
