After a long 400-mile day to help with the rescue of a Husky at the Stockton Animal Shelter, Buddy just wanted to get in his kayak so we could find a beach at Donner Lake where he could swim and retrieve bumpers. I bet there aren’t many dogs who are happier than Buddy to jump in a lake and go swimming. Also, dripping wet dogs are no problem when you can put them back in their Rubicon Dog and that means they get to come along on outdoorsy adventures!

Nonsense! Who’s in charge, you or your dog? We make our kids go in child car seats and they would rather be in our lap but that would be extremely dangerous and stupid, right? Don’t let your 50 lbs dog become a deadly projectile inside your vehicle, put a harness on them and place them inside a Rubicon Dog!

Tomato plants in a Rubicon Dog? Absolutely, that’s why it usually stays in the back seat even when the dogs aren’t coming along! Rubicon Dog makes an ideal back seat cargo transport for potentially messy stuff, especially if it might leak something liquid. Think milk jugs, pasta sauce, wine bottles, etc. If you’ve ever had to clean up a horrendous mess after a plastic container leaked or a glass container broke, you will always place those items in your Rubicon Dog when your best friend isn’t riding in it!

The kids named him Buddy because they knew he would be my buddy! Today he is 6 years old and he is also the inspiration for the Rubicon Dog! It makes me so happy to be able to take him just about anywhere in his Rubicon Dog or just hang out at home because my life is 100% better when we’re together. Dogs are the best! Happy birthday, Buddy!
