God has called us to this work. We do ordinary things with his greater purpose in mind. In the daily work of horse care, facility maintenance, teaching, planning, leading, team building, trot pole setting, event planning, relationship building, hay bucking, bucket scrubbing, pep talking, and so many other things we do together; we find a deeper impact. We find family in a team and strength in the face of difficult challenges. We find courage through earnest prayer and learn to lead when we would rather follow. When we explore the relationships and dynamics we build with horses, the parallels drawn to our spiritual walk are profound.
This team is prayed over and chosen by God, each for their own purpose and time. And it is through prayer that we begin all other work, remembering that nothing we do here has a greater meaning than what we are called to by him.
