The tragic loss of the this week has left three children facing a life forever changed, along with so many beloved pets left behind.

This family meant so much to me and to so many others. There will be unimaginable expenses ahead—from medical bills to simply keeping the children and animals cared for and together.

If you’re able to donate or even just share, please do. Help me honor Kelsey by helping make sure her children are supported and the animals she loved so deeply can stay together and cared for. ❤️

I am trying to cope with this loss and apologize for the added delay in my responsiveness. Kelsey, Timothy, Hollie and this entire family have supported me in ways I will never be able to articulate and mean the entire world to me. To say this is an earth shattering loss is a gross understatement. Doing my best to grieve while also still be a functioning adult through all of this. Please continue to have grace for me. It’s needed now more than ever 🫶🏽

On September 29th 2026, our family was in a car accident that took the lives of my Brother Tim Roundtree, His Wife Kelsey, one of their Children, Orion, and our Aunt, Dr Hollie Matthews. The other children were also involved in the accident, and sustained multiple major injuries. We please ask

📣 CLIENT COMMUNICATION UPDATE

As I’ve shared previously, the phone issues I’ve dealt with over the last couple of months created an absolute mess of missed and delayed communication, and I’ve been slowly working my way through everyone one by one. I still have about a dozen clients on my list that I need to personally get back to. I have not forgotten about you.

I’m. Only. One. Person. 😭 I’m a business owner, but I’m also a wife and a human being with a life outside of work. I can only answer so many messages, groom so many dogs, and play catch-up so quickly without completely running myself into the ground.

To everyone who has been patient, understanding, and gracious while I get caught back up: thank you. Seriously. I appreciate you more than you know. ❤️
And if you’re still waiting to hear from me — you have not been forgotten. I’m getting to you!!

📱 BUSINESS NUMBER UPDATE

Since starting my business in 2023, I’ve been using an old iPhone 8 as my work phone so clients could easily text me. Unfortunately, over the last few months it has become increasingly unreliable with sending/receiving messages and logging voicemails.

I’ve finally had enough 😅 and will be fully transitioning my business number to the same number you currently receive appointment reminders from:

Over the next several weeks, I’ll be reaching out individually to make sure everyone has the correct number saved. In the meantime, please bear with me during the transition—and don’t be afraid to reach out more than once if you haven’t heard back from me. There’s a very real chance your message never made it to me.

This poor iPhone 8 is finally getting the retirement it has been screaming for 😂 and moving forward, everyone will have one direct, reliable number for reaching me and receiving appointment updates. 🐾

📢 PSA – Temporary Construction Access

Just a heads up for all of my grooming clients!

The City of Stanwood has begun a water main replacement project near my home that may affect access to my neighborhood over the next couple of months. (Approx completion date is late September)

Please note: Cedarhome Drive is currently closed at Pioneer Highway, so do not try to enter from that direction.

For the easiest route to your appointment:
➡️ Approach from 80th Ave NW.
➡️ Turn onto Cedarhome Drive and continue past the “Road Closed” sign (local access is allowed).
➡️ Turn onto Hennings as usual to reach my house.

The “Road Closed” signs are for through traffic only—clients coming to my home are still allowed to access the neighborhood.

As construction progresses and access routes change, I’ll continue to post updates so everyone knows the best way to get here.

✨ Thanksgiving is right around the corner… and so is Christmas! ✨
The holiday season sneaks up fast, and December is already filling up quickly. If you know your pup will need a fresh groom for holiday photos, family gatherings, or just to look extra cute under the tree 🎄—now is the time to book!

I have limited availability left for December, with only a handful of spots remaining.
If you require specific days or times, please book as soon as possible to secure what works best for you.

I am taking new clients at this time, but existing clients will be prioritized during the holiday rush.

Headed to the Rally National Championships! 🐾✈️
I’ll be flying out to support my best friend and colleague at the Rally National Championships, and I couldn’t be more honored to tag along for such a special moment.

She’s truly put her money where her mouth is—working hard, training harder, and making it all the way to the top. I’m so proud of her and can’t wait to watch her showcase the skills that make her the absolute BEST trainer around, alongside the incredible bond she shares with the best dog in the game.

Wow, I am absolutely blown away by the incredible demand for services! I’m filled with gratitude and can’t thank you all enough for your trust and support. That said, due to the current volume of bookings, shifting my schedule to regularly include a weekend day just isn’t feasible . It would be a massive disservice to current clients who have already pre-booked for the rest of the year.

Beginning April, I will be offering limited weekend availability for additional/urgent appointments for those who cannot wait/match my current availablity, at 1.5 times the usual rate. The increased rate is due to these weekend appointments being in addition to my already booked schedule.

!!Please note that weekend rates will not apply to clients who had to be rescheduled due to circumstances on my end!!

For clarity, outside of select request weekends, my regular hours will still be Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6:30 PM. I am balancing these occasional weekend “overtime” appointments with my own personal life, so please know that not every weekend will be available.

There are a few reasons why someone might need a last-minute dog grooming:
1. Unexpected Event or Appointment: They may have a special event, like a family gathering, wedding, or a photoshoot, where they want their dog to look clean and well-groomed.
2. Dog’s Health or Comfort: Sometimes, dogs may get matted fur or have excessive shedding that causes discomfort or skin irritation, prompting the need for grooming right away.
3. Dirty or Smelly Dog: After a muddy walk, a swim, or a roll in something unpleasant, the owner might need an urgent grooming session to clean their dog.
4. Seasonal or Weather-related Needs: During warmer months, some dogs might need a quick grooming to keep them comfortable. Likewise, a last-minute grooming might be necessary before a change in weather that could affect the dog’s coat or comfort.
5. Time Constraints: A pet owner might have had to cancel or reschedule a previous grooming appointment, and now needs to get their dog groomed as soon as possible.
6. Travel Plans: If the dog is about to travel, either by plane or car, owners might want to make sure their dog is freshly groomed for comfort and cleanliness during the trip.

I just want to take a moment to thank my amazing community for your continued support! It’s such a pleasure working with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities—each one brings something special to the table.

To make sure you secure your spot, I recommend rebooking your next appointment in advance, as I’m currently booking about 3 weeks out. I’d love to make sure your pup gets the grooming they need when it’s most convenient for you!

I’m still offering mobile nail trims on a limited availability basis, so be sure to reach out early if you’d like to schedule one. As always, I provide one-on-one, fear-free grooming services and truly love meeting new dogs (especially giant breeds—hint, hint!).😉
