This hurts.

We’ve been trying to clean out the house in hopes of moving which includes moving all of my canning jars out to the garage.

Something knocked a whole case down and broke them.

I’ve been working so hard to collect as many as possible because canned food helps us get through our slow seasons when money isn’t coming in…

Jars are expensive. That’s it. That’s the post.

Some calves are pretty easy to halter break once they get the hang of it… but those first few times? TOTAL CHAOS sometimes. 🤣🤣

I had just sneaked a halter onto Scottie. I had been standing above him, dropped it over his head, and pulled it tight. Well… he immediately backed up right underneath my legs and started pulling me backwards while I was still up in the air.

At that point, my only goal was to get him to stand still for about 2 seconds so I could climb down without losing my balance and falling straight into a pile of cow 💩.

I initially meant to just snap a quick picture, but then I realized I was actually recording…

So here’s a little glimpse of what halter breaking looks like with some of these calves. 🤣
