It is with sadness that we announce that Dr. Kristin Wreggelsworth, who has been a part of our outstanding veterinary team over the past three years, will be leaving Northwest Veterinary Clinic of Stanwood, effective July 11, 2026. She will be relocating to the Corpus Christi area of Texas where her military husband is being transferred. We will miss her but wish her well in her future endeavors!

Rest assured, we are on the hunt for another quality veterinarian to join our team and in the meantime, we will be utilizing the help of relief veterinarians to provide access to care for our patients.

Join us in wishing Dr. Wreggelsworth a fond farewell!

New CDC Regulation Coming Soon!

As of August 1, 2024, dogs entering or returning to the United states must meet new, specific requirements depending on where they have been in the 6 months before entering the U.S. and where they received their rabies vaccines. For dogs that are traveling to Canada or Mexico and returning to the U.S. must be at least 6 months old up re-entry, have microchip (ISO compatible), a current Rabies vaccination, and a Certificate of U.S. - Issued Rabies Vaccination (issued and endorsed by USDA). Please visit the CDC website, www.cdc.gov/dogtravel and use the dogbot link to find additional requirements.

It's almost that time of year when the fireworks will be lighting up our sky!
If your pet becomes anxious and fearful with the loud noises caused by the celebrations with fireworks, we can help!
There are medications that our doctors can prescribe based on the health of your pet. If your furry companion is not current on an exam, then one will be required prior to prescribing any medication.
Call our office to either request an appointment or a prescription. Prescriptions can take up to a week to fill due to volume of requests we receive, so please don't procrastinate!
