These amazing creatures are called African Crested Porcupines. In the wild, they are found in Northern Africa, in countries like Morocco, Algeria, and Libya, as well as a big area south of the Sahara, from Senegal to Kenya and Tanzania. They are the largest species of porcupines in the world and have long, sharp black and white quills on their backs.

These two young porcupines have spent the last few weeks getting acclimated to human care and now they're ready to meet you! 🦔❤️
